Where should out of towners stay? I am hoping we can get some rooms in the same hotel so we can have a fun SLUMBER PARTY!
I live about 50 miles of downtown so I'm really no help in that area if you want something close to Christine's church. She would be the better person to ask. But I'm thinking I need to get a room with you all so I won't have to drive home...and so I can laugh all night!

I was hoping you would say that! I was actually bummed that you lived in Houston. LOL
I am *thinking* we can all try to get rooms in the same "wing" and maybe even some adjoining rooms!

Dude, I want to sleep with you! ;) I'm about an hour and 40 minute drive from the place. It's really not bad because it's all highway driving, but I'm thinking my fam can do without me for the night.

For those of you looking for a hotel to stay in, this is the flyer that Christine made up last year for the swap. I don't think anything has probably changed since then. I'm not sure which one people ended up staying at that came in from out of town. I also have no idea what the cost will be for any of them.

we stayed at the holiday inn that was recommended. it was being renovated at the time, so it's probably even nicer than it was when we went. We were pleased with it.
Susan, I'm on the wait list too but you could come with me. Shannan is close to me too so maybe we can just make a car load up providing you and I make the final cut--have hope, we will!!!

OK I need some eduaction here....what is this shoebox business?
Ah, Mary! It's just the most fun for a bunch of Stampers. It's a big get together where you make a card and bring all the supplies needed so that all the other stampers can make it. At the end of the day, you'll have 45 cards to take home. Plus you'll meet lots of great ladies. Chat, laugh, eat, and just have fun! Everyone needs to go to one at least once - more often if possible!

thanks!! i thought all the spots were filled??
The original 45 spots are full, but there is a waiting list. Last time we ended up being 5 shy of our 45 people, so you never know. First time I went to Austin everyone who wanted to go, got to go even if at the last minute. You never know if there are going to be ladies that have to cancel for one reason for another, so it doesn't hurt to get on the waiting list.

Sharon, I've sent you a PM, but wanted you to know that you've been moved up to the 45 list!

I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and reacquainting myself with everyone who came last year. I got to thinking that it will be hard to decide on a card too much ahead of the release of the new catty to see what is replaced and what is new!! Wow, I can hardly wait.

I know. This will be such a good opportunity to get creative with new stuff. We should be getting the preview catty in just a couple weeks so that should help us.
