Cindy and everyone who participated, thank you for a wonderful day and lots of fun cards. For the gals I sat with, I finally have news from my friend that the baby arrived on last Thursday night and all is well except for a bad case of jaundice and he'll be home soon.
I promised the recipe for the Milky Wonder cake so here it is:
Milky Wonder Cake
6 Regular or 13 Fun Size (not mini) Milky Way bars
1 cup butter, divided
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 cups flour
 teaspoon baking soda
1 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts (I used pecans)
Melt candy bars and cup butter in saucepan over low heat (or use double boiler). In large mixing bowl (best with a free standing mixer rather than hand held), beat remaining cup butter and sugar until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir together flour and baking soda. Add flour mixture alternating with buttermilk, beating well after each addition. Stir in melted candy mixture, vanilla, and nuts. Turn batter into greased and floured bundt pan or 10” tube pan. Bake at 350F for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched with fingertip. (Top will be quite dark.) Cool in pan 10 minutes, remove to wire rack and cool completely. Frost if desired.
Frosting:
3 Regular or 6to7 Fun Size (not mini) Milky Way bars
 cup butter
2 cups confectioner’s sugar
1 to 2 Tablespoons milk
In saucepan or double boiler, melt candy bars and butter. (I used my double boiler with a rounded bottom.) Gradually beat in confectioner’s sugar. Thin to desired consistency, frost.
Thanks to everyone for making this another great swap. The food, cards, and laughter were wonderful. What a fun day! Thanks to all of those who helped with the clean up process too. That is much appreciated.
Hope you all have a wondeful holiday season! Can't believe it is right around the corner. See you at a swap sometime next year.

Thanks for the update on Brandy. I was thinking of her today wondering how she was. I'll PM ya for the address. Thanks to you and Lynn for finishing up her cards.
I missed you all and thanks Linda for posting the cards. I loved that you missed me. I had a great time with DH but still feeling under the weather so I guess it will take some time to get it all back together! Hugs, smiles and know I missed you all. ;)

Cindy - thanks for another fun swap. The cards were great, and it was good seeing everyone again
Lisa - thanks for posting the cards on your blog. I brought the red and black "Thinking of You" card, and my daughter Laura Eller brought the New Baby card.
No, she didn't. She doesn't expect to see it again, and assumes that whomever stole it is probably selling it for parts or something. She and her family have had the worst luck with cars this year - she's anxious for a fresh start in 2011. Thanks for asking - hopefully we'll see you at an upcoming swap. Cathy
Hellooooo everyone! I am back in business! I have one more surgery to complete next week & then I will be back to normal-until this happens again, lol. I wanted to thank everyone for their positive thoughts & to those of you who sent a card, if you did not receive a Thank You card back from me, that means I didn't receive your card, just so you know.
For the short time I was there, I had a blast & all the cards were really great this time, thanks so much for including me! See ya next time & happy holidays!
