Great, I will get to work on something and let you know. We can probably use our church hall in Pataskla if it is not being used. I will check on it. Then of course we will need to EAT so I will work on it. Anyone else interested?
I cant get it to come up right now, but will check on it later. Can you please explain to me what a "shoebox swap" is and how it works? I have seen it but never understood what it was about.

Do you make a card (packet) for each attendee or do you break them up into groups of 10? If there were fifty people there it would be a LOT of shoebox material needed to bring for the whole group.
Hello Ohio stampers! I see that it seems like most are from the other side of the state, is there anyone on this side? I am just west of Toledo, about 30 miles. I think meeting up with other SCS fans would be fun!!

We're almost there! Less then 3 weeks and Ohio will be home! Yeah! I was curious if you had any more info on Anna's shoebox swap?! Right now I'm trying to convince my DH I "need" to have my stamping stuff brought to Ohio - it's a necessity right?!! I think I might be getting lucky since he mentioned bringing certain furniture pieces in case I want to scrap! LOL! We're doing a DITY move in conjunction with the rest of our stuff that's being brought up by professional movers but that stuff is going straight to storage! Can't have that now can we?! LOL! Anyway, I'd love more info if you have it!
Please keep me posted about a Newark/Pataskala area event. I'm way down in Mississippi, but Alexandria, Oh is home and I can't think of a better excuse to come up this fall!! Thanks!

The shoe box swaps I have heard of limit it to 15-20 people and you bring enough pre-cut materials for all of them to do your project. You leave with 19 cards/items plus one of your own. Some do quick demos of all, and some demo a few and ask all to include written directions. It helps to have a picture, even Xerox b/w of project, for placement, etc.
I would love to be included in anything in the Columbus area and/or am willing to drive to Newark, Pastaskala, etc. Onelightningchic, thank you for your "Things Newbies need to Know" thread. I subscribe to it, and have learned much from it.

I am no longer a demonstrator and I also spend alot of time at Archiver's in Mason. I have gone to 3 Scraps this month alone. I just love that store.
And to everyone else on this thread, I would love to get together for a stamp or scrap event. I am actually about an hour from Cincinnati but I work in downtown Cincinnati.
Please let me know if anyone knows of any events coming up in the area.

I am a CMC and our Croptoberfest is coming up in Archbold Ohio. It is Oct. 10-12 If interested email me [email protected] and I can give you info on it. You can attend one, two, or all three days. One catered meal each day is included in your fee. Theres a very nice Inn on site and other accomodations in the area. If you decide to stay at the Inn they have a free continental breakfast with just about anything you could want.
Is anyone planning on going to Adventures in Stamping in Strongsville, OH on October 11th? I want to go but I would like to meet some other SCS'ers there.
Where exactly is it at and at what time? My friend and I had heard about it, but didn't know the details. If you can let me know, we would love to meet up with you!
Adventures in Stamping is Saturday, October 11 from 9:00 to 5:00 at the Ehrnfelt Event Center Recreation Complex, 18100 Royalton Rd, Strongsville. The cost is $5.00 to get in.
I'm totally up for it! I had soooooooooooo much fun at our pampered stampers last year!! :o)

So Neat to see other from the T.C area! We are originall from Trumbull co too(Warren to be exact)
We live in KY now (ARMY) but we're comming home this weekend to visit everyone! I cant wait!!
