I can't come! I was so excited when I went to the calendar to post it..smack on my wedding anniversary weekend! Sorry ladies... I'd love to get the projects.
Garnet, can I paypal the funds to you instead of a cheque? It gets a bit more difficult writing a cheque in US funds from a Canadian bank. I'll add extra for the paypal fees. Just let me know.
Heather
p.s. I was just in Lynden Saturday for my son's baseball. He played in a big baseball place on Bender Rd. It took me 2 hrs to get across the border Sat. a.m. Now I know to use the Aldergrove border crossing and it should be better!

Paypal: Yes you may. Note in first post.
Border Crossing: Twohours!! And I thought I had it bad a few weeks ago when it took one. Fortunately my grandson had a book to read. I on the other hand was having a hard time to remain "cool".
Having a tea party with a couple of four-year-od girls, a cow, a lamby, a Mickey Mouse and a baby doll is very tiring. Think I'll lay down and rest.....
Hello fellow stampers! I am back from an exciting Stampin' Up convention. Wow, what great information and stamping ideas they gave us! Plus all the swapping, those I signed up for on splitcoast were the best I received. Did anyone else from this thread attend? Another highlight on our trip (attended with my daughter-in-law) was attending the Pre-Broadway play "The Little Mermaid". We lucked out with tickets in the sixth row from the stage! The play was delightful!
Garnet, it sounds like you were busy with your grandchildren. Those tea parties are especially endearing.
One to two hours at the border-YUCK! Is it because of summer?
Happy stamping, Mary Ellen
Hi Mary Ellen!!! Can't wait to see the new ideas you got at the convention. Maybe you could set up a display table???.... share your swaps??.... pretty please???...
Border Crossings are exceptional long because everyone is doing construction. Part of the time the Truck Crossing at Blaine is closed, so all the trucks have to go through the one at Peace Arch Park. Everyone says it has been hectic up there.
I had no idea that going to the beach could be so strenuous! Went to Birch Bay all the time when I was a kid and it never made me so tired. It must be that last birthday that did me in.
...............................
I just got back from Duvall, WA. Spent time with my 22 month old granddaughter. She never took a step, she hopped everywhere. Boy do my legs ache. I need to sleep for a couple of days to recoup.
Debbi
Okay Debbi, after we both get rested up from the wear and tear of little grandchildren, we need to grab Mary Ellen and start shopping! .....
BTW... I added a couple more name that came in via Private Message.
Hi Garnet...you can add my friends Shirley O. and Jennifer J. to the list. I'll be putting all of our $$$ in the mail to you when I get back from vacation next week. :-)
ps. Do you need prize contributions for the goodie bags or door prizes?
Thanks Jael! for inviting friends. I get more excited every time I add another name..
I am going back to page #1 to edit the list as I just received a couple of checks in the mail today.
Golly gee.......... almost 4 o'clock and I've been reading a book ALL day long. Have not done any work unless you can call walking to the mailbox work. Do any of you ever have a day like that? I know exactly what it is... escapism. Stay busy with fiction and forget about "stuff" for awhile.
Back to the real world. Better do something about at least one of the stacks of paper in my house.
Judy... jaydekay
Your check arrived today. Love your card!!! How did you color and sparkle the wings on the little birds? I haven't yet figured out the best method for adding sparkle.
Hi there, so glad you like the card. I have the best luck with the stickles in the bottle with the fine tip. If you don't put it on to heavy, it will dry fairly fast, and it is way less messy than the dry sprinkle on glitter.
Stickles comes in many colors.. but I think the icicle and diamond ones work great on everything.. you already have color on your image.
Ok I am rambling.. sooooo. happy stamping!
That's Great!! Thanks Danita! I'll add her to the list right now.
BTW... Are you busy on Saturday? Maybe we could play with rubber around my dining table?
Oops! Saturday is also the "Papercrafting Garage Sale" at Treasury of Memories. Might "need" to go there to buy more paper, ink, stamps, stuff?
