This week's inspiration site was in my backlog because of all the wonderfully soft images. I really wanted to play along in this challenge because I found them so inspiring. Please join me on the Create the Cut Etsy site, and be inspired by the gorgeous images of sunshine and summer florals and wreaths. Enjoy!
Challenge Goals:
Please don't be tempted to upload a card that you have made prior to this challenge, just because it looks like an image on the Etsy site. Rather, take the challenge of allowing your creative juices to flow again, and creating something brand new for the gallery!
Use the keyword: IC597 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words. Include your inspiration image in the description of your project being sure to only include links from the Create the Cut Etsy site.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, I've uploaded 10 of my favorite designs! So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
went with a urban/floral combo, inspired by the Vintage Typewriter Digital image. I used a cool skyline stamp from Hero Arts, with purple framing, and some travel dp, adding a layered white flower and a purple/turquoise/pink heart combo from my stamping buddies. Added to the vintage vibe with a pink floral mini tag, and an orchid image from SU. Here's springtime Seattle

Wonderful site Audrie. I needed to get one last card done for my Grandma for mother's day and today's site was perfect for inspiration. Here is my card:

That looks like such pretty inspiration pieces.
my brain is curious about what people would actually do with them if they bought them though? ( is it like for digital scrapbooking or something?)
