Good Saturday Morning & welcome to the Inspiration Challenge! It's my pleasure to be your hostess for this first Inspiration Challenge for October!
This week's challenge is brought to you by RebsFabStash. They have really nice quilting supplies & fabrics. The wonderful fabric panels are great for inspiration & there are many from which to chose. They also have a very cool Pinterest Board. So head on over to their site or Pinterest Board, pick your favorite & go create! Please be sure to link us up to what inspired you.
Please note: we have not shopped here so this is not a recommendation. Site is offered for inspiration only.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many, or too little, images to choose from, & since some sites have limited viewing areas, I've uploaded MANY images to help inspire you. So just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. Click on the images below to see them bigger and to get their links on SCS.
**Please note: If you are unable to view the Inspiration Site in your country, please visit their Pinterest Board or use one of the pictures provided for you (thumbnails below). Unfortunately, we have no control over the sites' viewing areas. **
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining us on this inspiration journey.

On a windows machine, right click the picture (on a Mac, 2 finger click). When the options come up, select COPY IMAGE ADDRESS. This link will be for that picture.
Wow what a great site and Pinterest board! I have a Quiltspiration board for quilt ideas I’d like to try as cards (we used it for this challenge a couple of years ago) and I have pinned SO MANY pictures from this board. Some of the patterns almost make me wish I liked sewing…
Not an inspiration per se (though the colors and chicken theme would be pretty fabulous, but this “egg gathering apron”…before we had backyard chickens, I would have thought this was a too-specialized thing mainly designed to sell chicken fabric prints….HOWEVER I can say that after several times of grabbing one or two eggs on the fly, putting them in my jeans or shorts pocket, and then two minutes later forgetting they were there and bending down to do something else, only to feel the CRACK-squiiish….I probably would have found this useful.
we no longer have chickens, we removed the last couple of our flock when we moved several years ago, and meant to start again at the new place, but as my wife said, we are kind of tired of supplying the local raccoons/coyotes/foxes with meals. The only way to be sure a home built chicken coop is secure enough is to build it and see, and pay a chicken apiece to have each breach pointed out by the local scavengers. That’s how we discovered that a top of doubled chicken wire wasn’t safe because raccoons know how to use their weight to make one layer sag and then slip between!
I kinda miss our chickens tho…
anyway, looking forward to making something for this challenge! I should stop babbling and get busy so I can have some fun this afternoon….
