Well, I did it! I had suddenly fallen in love with vintage, and thought I'd give that a try. I began on Saturday, and had many,
many false starts! Finally I decided to make something just for me, and you know what? I found that to be hard! This has stretched me from 5 ft. 2 to at least 6 feet! But it was fun never-the-less, and I learned a lot. Thanks Lydia!
Here's my tag

I like the idea of this challenge for using up supplies that just might be ignored in my stamp room...like the chalks. Thanks for the challenge Lydia!

how exciting
i am just starting to venture into mixed media.
here is my first real attempt. i get burned out on doing cards sometimes.
seems like you can go forever making just the background, just keep adding. and if it looks terrible, just paint over and start again.
thanks for starting this challenge.

Here's mine.
Yin and Yang
I used embossing powder for the shine, and matte brads and pan pastels for the matte. Thanks for looking!

I think this card fits this challenge, I used matte mod podge for the eggshell mosaic bg technique, and some metallic inks on the shells with another coating of mod podge. Anyway, here is my card, *
Flagstone Wall by asweetjewel - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers . Thanks for taking a look!

I'm a little behind on the Mix challenges, but only by about 200
Wasn't sure if I should work my way backward or start from the beginning. Or bounce around...
Here is the first one:

Thanks, Lydia. This helps me focus on using my supplies and experimenting with new mediums. Am looking forward to it.
