Hello and welcome to the Mix-Ability challenge here on Splitcoast! Our goal is to make mixed media, easy, approachable and FUN! We want to convince you that no matter what your style is - you can DO it!
If you want to start these challenges in the pages of an art journal, instead of a card, or on scrapbook pages, or on 3D items - please know - ANYTHING is welcome! We want you to learn and enjoy!
My challenge today is as simple or complicated as you MAKE it! I ask all of you mixers out there to create texture of any kind with anything on any project!
Ack!! It's one of those days...I started a card, but when it went wrong after almost two hours drying time, and then I spilled things twice, I think I'll come back tomorrow! It's not as if texture isn't easy, sigh...

MIX119 Musical Dream
Well, who knew, I did get something made.
I stopped trying to make the card I was imagining, and just worked with something sitting on my desk that has been waiting to be turned from a background and stamped image into something more. Most of my texture is heat embossing, but I added cork, too.
I've done only one or two MIX cards, but I'm playing, learning, spending too much money, and having fun. This one has embossing paste, ink, markers and glimmer mist.
