Happy Mix-Ability day! For this week's challenge, incorporate the 2022 Pantone Color of the Year into your mixed media project!
Here's Very Peri:
For extra bonus challenge fairy points, add in some other colors from the Pantone site's inspiration page HERE- there are some beautiful combinations!
Remember, for your project to truly qualify as mixed media, you need to use at least 2 different types of art media. You can click HEREfor a list of possible supplies.
Please remember to put in the correct keyword (MIX464) when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos. Then come back to this thread and paste a link to the card in your gallery so we can all ooh and ahhh! Go forth and create!
Looks close to the Blueprint Sketch DOX. My least favourite of Tim's blues, LOL, and I only have it because when I got the DOX I got a full set. I'll see what I can do over the weekend. Periwinkles, on the other hand, I love in the garden.
Ha. I know Lisa loves blues - she makes gorgeous cards with blues and yellows.
Me, I don't like it, too cold even though I tried telling myself it had violet overtones in it. So I used it as a background colour - and did get something made today.
I'm working on my "Challenge Catch-up" cardmaking goal and some current challenges as well.
Stampin' Up's new In-Color Starry Sky is almost a perfect match to the 2022 Pantone Color of the Year--Very Peri. I fit the Bonus as well to use at least one other Pantone Color from the past in your card. In researching, most of the four other new In-Colors on my card were featured as a color of the year at some point in the last 20 years! My mediums: acrylic sheeting and Copic marker for gem coloring.
