I'm just loving this sunshine my area has been experiencing. It finally feels like summer is on its way! I hope you all had a wonderful May! Did anyone do anything exciting? I've had a couple of small weekend getaways, but I've pretty much been working. I'm getting ready to see my daughter off to Ireland this Saturday. I'm so jealous!
Speaking of summer sunshine, it's the theme of this month's challenge! How many of you have stamps and dies that you've NEVER used? Oh my, I've got hundreds, sadly. My card this month is featuring stamps and dies I purchased from The Greetery a LONG time ago and had yet to use. But I felt it was perfect as vacation season is upon us!
I used my MISTI to help with stamping precision, lining up layers (the florals) and inking on my die cuts. As last month's winner posted with her card, my MISTI is invaluable to my card making. I use it every time I stamp.
I was asked to make a card for someone as a thank you to their friends who allowed them to stay in their beach house for a week's vacation. I thought this was perfect! She LOVED it! I had no plan in mind of when I'd use this set when I purchased it, but I'm so glad I had it on hand.
This month's challenge is to use the sun, sunshine, or summer in your design theme. Pretty easy, right? I figure we all have a card we need for a summer occasion.

Wonderful card and how perfect to use with the Misti. We are all so lucky she created this device! I don't know how I survived without it! OH, and yes, I have LOTS of stamps that haven't had the pleasure of being "inked." Looking forward to this month's challenge!

Here's my card for this sunny, summer challenge card. I used my wonderful Misti to place my sentiment, hearts and butterfly. I used stencils and stamps that have been sitting in my stash for awhile, too. I love all the bright colors of summer!
Every summer as a child we went to the beach and collected seashells. I love anything beach or seashells! The next two cards I made sets of to use as blank cards to add message when sending,
