Challenge Title: It's Easy Being Green Hostess: MISTI Monday Keyword: MSP43 Date: March 1, 2021
Hi everyone! Sorry for the lateness of the post. I wasn't home Monday evening and last night I couldn't get the site to work. I hope you are all doing well! Are you ready for Spring? I am!
This month's challenge card was fun to create! The stamps are from Colorado Craft Company. I used my MISTI to stamp the image with Gina K's black Amalgam Ink and then I colored with copics. This card will be going to a nursing home resident. It's so nice to have a MISTI to get a crisp image by inking and stamping multiple times.
This month's challenge is to create a card using the color green, in honor of St. Paddy's Day, BUT you don't necessarily need to make a St. Paddy's Day card. Like my card is just a friend card, but it's obviously got St. Paddy's Day undertones....laughing.
Have a Merry, Merry Month of March! I'm leaving for Disney World this Saturday for a week! I'm so excited!
Thanks for joining us this month!

Love your card! Just perfect. Nice to see green after this winter snow. I'm going to participate in this challenge. My MISTI is used 99% of the time when I am stamping. I agree, it is nice to have a sharp solid image! Also, I do continue to use wood mounted stamps occasionally and those thoughts always comes back "what if the image is too faint or I smear it??" I have a bad habit of waiting until I'm at the end before I stamp a sentiment on the completed card. Very few failures so far.
Hi all!
Here is my green card. Mine was a sympathy card using Sage Shadow. I don't own a Misti. I was glad that I had inked the stamp well enough....plus a "stamping prayer" didn't hurt either!
Here is my green card. When it comes to lining up sentiments on a slant, my Misti is a necessity. This sketch is my go-to layout and I don't know how I would manage without my Misti.
