Hi- I must be doing something wrong. I click on the file and it shows it is downloading from the site. Then it says the d/l is done but there is nothing on the page.
Kim:confused:
Thankyou Chris, I looked at all the different designs for patterns and finally the last one I look at has them. You are sooooo awesome. Thanks for doing this. I just made the 3 piece last night for a sample and will be making it with my stamp club tonight. Now I'll have to try some of the others. thanks again, Pam
I was so excited about all these nugget box templates, but I'm really having a doozy of a time with the outer piece. I've tried the 3 nugget box and the 4 nugget box and the outer piece is just coming out all wrong. Can anyone help?

The biggest trick is that the smaller flap goes on the outside, not the inside. That's because one of the bigger surfaces (the top and the bottom of the outer piece) is very slightly wider than the other. If you put the smaller flap to the inside, you'll end up with a lopsided shape.
First I wanted to thank you for sharing all your hard work. I am trying to make a box of happy birthday (16) and the box is bigger than the slide. Am I missing something? I checked back on this site to see if the sizes were exactly the same and they are. I'm using the 16 piece template you provided. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I went back to the original template and took apart my box. Turns out I must have not measured correctly. I did it again and it turned out perfectly. Again, thank you so much! I think these will be a big hit with everyone!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank! Thanks! A lot of hard work and we all really appreciate you! I have been wanting to do some of these in different sizes, but didn't want to take the time to come up with how to do them and you have done all the work for us! I can't say thank you enough!
Thanks for all of your hard work! My friend came over to stamp and made two different sizes. Now we are going to make some for Sunday School teacher gifts!
Chris thank you so much for taking time out for doing all these templates for us. you are avery generous person for doing this. :-D I printed out all the templates so i could do them later and make some for my family for christmas. this will be cool. many thanks again. multicrafter
Okay, this is where I prove what a compulsive geek I am. I'm all excited about making nugget boxes, so of course, I have to try different sizes. And being the big geek, I can't stop until I've made every possible size that you can make from 8.5 by 11 cardstock.
In the replies to this topic, you'll find over 20 different PDF files, each to make a different size of nugget box. Each of the files has a name similar to this: nugget_box_8_long.pdf - this tells you how many nugget candies it holds (8 in this case). If the name includes 'long' or 'short', it just means that there is more than one shape of box that holds that number of nuggets. For example, 8 nuggets could be either one row of eight (long), or two rows of four (short).
If you click on one of the PDF files and get a blank screen, you probably need to upgrade your Adobe reader software. You can get the free upgrade at www.adobe.com - version 7.0 is the minimum that you should get.
Thank you for doing all the "pain in the neck part" Why did you skip 9?
Thank you for doing all the "pain in the neck part" Why did you skip 9?
Not quite sure I understand the question. I originally did only boxes with eight or less nuggets per row, because they can be made from 8.5 by 11 cardstock. I later added patterns for the nine per row patterns (1x9, 2x9, and 3x9), and they are found in this topic as well. To make these, you have to use 12x12 for one or both pieces of the box.
((((((((((((((((Chris)))))))))))))))))))) Not only did you do all the hard work.... but this thread encouraged me to try this. I always think these things are going to take a degree in Rocket Science. Due to an injury I have something wrong with how I see things. I literally can't see straight lol I have a very difficult time measuring, and I can't cut or draw straight and even I did this!! Ok...the top slidey piece came out all caddywhompus the first time, but the 2nd time it worked!! The bottom piece worked the first time. You are amazing girly. I did the one for 18 pcs. Uhmmm....as I was doing this I thought....wow this would make a great box holder to put cards in to give someone. But it's just the tiniest bit not wide enough. (wide if you orient the card vertically, it would be the height if you're looking at it like a nugget box). Since it would take a rocket science degree for me to do the math, and since I'm the type that if you give me an inch I take a mile.....do you do requests??? lol Would it be difficult for you to do a template that would fit a standard 5.5 x 4.25 card and envies with a little wiggle room? I don't do math....if I try to add 2+2 I usually get 22 lol If it would be too much of a hassle particularly during this busy time of year, don't worry about it, but ya can't blame a gal for trying.

Just wanted to say this is AWESOME every size what an inspiration. Have 30 of these to make for co-workers. They look forward to something new every year. This will be great. Thank you
I received one of the 14 piece boxes for my birthday and was thoroughly impressed...enough to come on and print out all of the directions for all the different sizes! Can you guess what I'll be doing over the holidays in a few weeks?!?

I can print these right out on the cardstock right?
p.s. thanks so much for doing these!
You can print them on cardstock if you like, but you'll waste quite a bit if you do. I've made them to print right in the middle of the page. You'd be better off cutting out the rectangle required from the side of the sheet and then scoring according to the measurements given.
In the case of the 'nine in a row' boxes, one or both pieces needs to be made from 12x12 paper, so the template is shown shrunk down to fit on 8.5x11 paper so that you can print it. These cannot be made by printing directly on your cardstock. The patterns that are not to scale are clearly marked.
I just now found this thread. Don't know how I missed it originally...but WOW, how generous of you to take your time to make it easier for all of us. I can't say "thank you" more eloquently than the others, just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of gratitude!!

I just clicked on resources to find out how to make the boxes for my son's bus drivers and was amazed to find the link to all of these different sizes. You are an amazingly generous person, chris. Not only did you make them all, but you are taking the time to answer people's questions. Thanks so much!

You are sooooo awesome for taking the time to do this for us. Just the other day my friend was asking if I could try to come up with an 18 nugget box for teacher gifts that spelled out Merry Christmas. I told her I would try. You just made it awhole lot easier. Thank you sooooo much!!!
