Remember our VSBN Challenges, and at least one more will be added. You have through September to do them. Then I will post the last VSBN of the year for October through December.

Please check in and let us know what this month's goal is and how many you have done of your ytd goal. It is fun to see how much we can accomplish if we keep at it!

I only got 2 layouts done in July.I am still going to set a goal of 10 for August.
What about you?

July was a bust for me as far as scrapping goes, though I did do a lot of cards and quite a few samples for DTGD.
So 0 for July and goal of 10 for August. I did get my latest foster dog who was a senior gal adopted to a wonderful family, so that was the best thing I did for the month! Printing pics so her page should be the first one I do this month.

YTD 57/125
July 0
August goal 10

Default Hello August

Wow, Summer is flying! I got (6) done in July. That brings my total for YTD to 48. For August I’m going in at 50. I’m at a Crop this weekend and I already have 24 pages done! It has been very productive, I was really in the mood, the MOJO is good! I brought the last of my page kits I had pulled together so that’s helping..,

Hello, Lela! Great to see again. Wow! You get a lot done at a retreat. When I used to go on the 4 day retreats, 20-24 would be what I got done the whole time! And I was happy with that. You go, girl!

That is a lot of pages lela! That’s great. Enjoy your weekend. I’m not sure I will get my 10. My mother has to have surgery next week, I’ll be staying there for a few days. I hope to pack some supplies! I usually bring stamps or something easy to pack. It is only a 10 minute ride home.

Hi fellow scrappers. Not scrapping much lately. I have been mostly working on my sewing closet. Too much stored for too long, can't find anything! Everything has been pulled out, mostly gone through and sectioned in organized piles. I am putting like-fabrics into their own tubs making it easier to locate fabrics and supplies. I also made myself, along with my DD, go through all the bags and boxes of my late son. I put this off for way too many years. So glad this is now behind me. Soon I will be able to re-store the containers and have my floor back.
In the meantime, I report that I missed my July goal by 1 and, being hopeful, I will set my August goal again to 6 layouts.
Total YTD= 65

Joyce Ann,
Organizing our craft stuff is so hard. My sister is a quilter, the fabric multiplies! Just like paper. I just keep trying to use my stuff.
I am going to stay with my mother for a few days after her surgery, I am going to bring the layout kits I bought and work on putting them together. I did get a great deal on a CTMH card kit, I might bring that as well. It involves a lot of cutting but I won't need to bring much besides the kit, ink, and my sizzix sidekick.

So far,so good. She is doing better than I expected. I’m just plugging away on these layout kits. Some are part of a wedding gift book I am working on.

I put mats, photos & embellishments on the interactive layout I started at CKC. I'm going to count this as 2 pages because I have no idea how I would even count them all...LOL! I wish I could have posted a video flipping through it because it's so cool! It was fun to make but it's a little thick especially with the embellishments. I'm glad it'll be the last pages in the album. Now all I have to do is put it into a page protector. The creator of the layout also has a YouTube video showing how to make the protectors so I'll have to work on that so I can finish putting 2020 album together. I do have 3 other 2020 events to scrap so the page protectors will probably be put off until I get them done...LOL!

Lou Ann,
that layout is fantastic! I don’t think I have the patience for it! Will you continue to use the template? It looks like a great tool for a big event or holiday.

Great pages Amy!

I haven't scrapped for a bit. I went back home over the weekend. It sounds like a big move, but I am less than 10 minutes away! She is doing great, she started pt yesterday. She forgets that she is 80 and wants to do everything now!

I hope to have time to scrap today or this weekend. I did put together pieces for the whole kit and kaboodle and paper wizard layouts I keep buying!

It was a little bit of a challenge but yes, I'll probably use it again. I have my DGS's graduation photos & there are a lot of them so I'm thinking of using it for that. I should probably make sure I can make the protector first!

Lou Ann,
I like how you think! Definitely get the protector first.

I I didn’t scrap today but I did craft. I bought a Ctmh kit at ckc. The vendor was having a 1/2 off sale during the crop. It is really a calendar kit, but I made it into layouts. I had to make pages to match. I’m going to give it as a wedding shower gift. I am very happy with it.

Lou Ann,
I like how you think!

That's a good idea! I got started a layout I had taken to CKC & didn't get done. Hope to finish tomorrow.

Lou Ann and Pia, you sound like you are doing great. CKC must have really inspired you. August has been so busy here, and it isn’t going to let up. I think August is a bust for me.

I've been doing so good this year but last month was a bust for me. I really thought I would come in strong at the last minute. August has been busy here too but I'm hoping to get to my goal! I'm going to try & finish 2 pages & maybe started another 2 today. We're having concrete work done since I'll be house bound...LOL!

Yea, I finished the 2 pages I was working on yesterday. They're pretty simple but everything I used was from my stash!! Little by little I'm whittling it down, I need to check out VSBN before I start my next project so I can incorporate it into my pages.

Sorry for the glare but it's not a good day for photos today.

Happy scrapping!! Hope your Mom is doing well.

I did the journaling for two more events this afternoon. I also got a layout ready to work on but I need to think on it a bit. It's going to be on pretty embossed cardstock so it really doesn't need much except mats for the photos. I think I only have one event & a few random photos then i'll done with 2020.

I am impressed with all the pages. I did not get any craft time this weekend. Saturday was full of errand. Sunday was a long day at work. It was a great day, but tiring. Our larger commencement was yesterday. We do 2 a year!

This has to be the quickest page I've ever done! Of course it's pretty simple & it took me less than an hour. I'm trying very hard to finish 2020 before the end of August but I keep finding more photos. I scrap chronologically & this one pager through me off because I'm at the end of the year & ready to do my miscellaneous photos. I didn't want these photos at the end with those & needed a 2nd page. I decided to scrap the announcement that Riverfest was cancelled because of COVID. My DGS volunteers there every year so it's fitting to include it in order. I still have about 3 pages to go but they should be quick too.

This is my LAST layout for 2020 & probably August! I have 20 card kits to make up for my stamping friends at our next month's birthday dinner, Once that's done I'll be starting on 2019.

2020 Riverfest CANCELED!

I used that kit for pages too! It’s been awesome. I figured it’s great for this “first” and “last” pages since I’m a 2pg scrapper mostly
