Yea! I did 10 in November with a YTD of 100!!! Only 4 to meet my goal so I'll go with that for my December goal.
I've never been this far ahead for the holidays! I mailed my Christmas cards today plus I have my Christmas cards & Secret Santa gift ready for my stamping group's Christmas dinner. It was warm outside so we got that decorating almost done. I think tomorrow I'll get the tree! Then back to scrapping!
Lou Ann, I am so impressed! You are my hero! Congratulations!
I did get my international Christmas cards mailed last week. I have 55 of 60 Christmas cards, most all different! We have shopping done, and part of decorating done, but not tree.
I Hope to get scrapping done before family come the 22nd! Then forget it! LOL
I am checking in from Disneyland. We are having a great trip! It is beautiful here for the holidays. The weather has been great too!
I I didn’t make my goal for November. I am way ahead for the year. I think I will set a zero goal for December. Next year I am going to modify around the holidays. I am so happy with all I have done this year!

Pia, Glad you're having a great time! I think Disney during a holiday would be amazing! Congrats on reaching your goal!
I spent yesterday putting the finishing touches on some cards & cleaning up from making Christmas cards, etc. I have just a little bit to go this morning, then an appointment this afternoon. Saturday is a craft day with friends so I'll be packing layouts to work on. Soon it'll be time to pack crafty things for Florida! Yea!!
I tried to like your post, Pia, but the system says I don’t have permission! I just want to say you have a great attitude about your scrapping! It make me remember, we are doing this scrapping for fun, for a hobby.
I think it is so fun that you and family are making some more fun memories. Have a great trip!
we are taking a small road trip today, very small. Just a run to a store out in the country where we buy our supplements. I know we could buy online, but we like the drive out in the country to the place. The mother and father started it over 30 or 40 years ago, and the dad has passed and the mom is in her late 90s. The two daughters run the small store which is down a dirt road drive way behind their house. My husband calls it the barn. LOL.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Sharon,
I love trips like yours! We are tired and heading home tomorrow. The time change has been rough. It is worse going home. We are off til Sunday.

Sharon, Short road trips are so much fun & I like a tradition like you're doing!
Pia, hope you get rested up, you have a lot of memories to scrap...LOL!
Yesterday, I took the plunge & made page protectors for the 2 flip pages I did a while ago. I have a Fuse tool that I've only used once so there was a learning curve. They do fit good but a few of the edges are a little rough. I'm happy its done because I can put it in the album & be done!
We went to Michaels after our appointment & I was able to get 2 mega albums on sale so I'm going to work on putting 2022 pages in the bigger album. I still need to do 2 events (my DGS's HS graduation & Greece trip) for that year but I want to do a flip page for them because there are so many photos.
Snowing here this morning so I'll be in my craft room soon! Happy crafting ladies!
I just looked at your last blog post, Lou Ann. Love that layout and how you flipped the sketch you used on the one side. I really like when you and Joyce Ann use the mosaic. I never wanted to spend the money! LOL
now, the reason I went to your blog is to see if you posted about fusing flips . I recently watched someone, on a scrap summit, I think, (free version). And followed her making thes two double layouts with all kinds of flip outs. Now I am thinking how in the world do I put them in my albums! LOL
I follow Brie Beaupre. She sells flip page instructions (that's where I got mine) & has 2 videos on how to make page protectors. It's not as hard as it looks. Here are links to her YouTube videos. Good tips in both. Hope they help you out.

I want to add, I haven't updated my blog in over a year. After my old computer crashed, I can't get into it to add anything. It keeps wanting me to start a new one which I don't want to do! I've tried Googling the problem but can't get anywhere so I gave up.
When I first started with Mosaic Moments, I used a 1" punch and/or a trimmer. I do think their cardstock is worth purchasing because it really helps with the spacing. I have a friend who doesn't use the cardstock & does it herself but I like the grid. All the dies are nice (& I've "collected" too many) but if you create an account on their site you can find a lot of patterns to use. They have YouTube videos for beginners too. You should give it a try.
Thanks for all the great info and the videos. I will definitely watch those!
I wonder where the rest of our small group are? I have done about half the VSBN challenges, but plan to do the rest. This thread is kind of fizzing out. Shall we keep going? SCS hasn’t supported the scrapbook side of the site very much. There are lots of digital scrappers on here, but they don’t participate in challenges.
You're welcome...I hope it helps you with the protectors.
I'm planning on doing the VSBN challenge now that I'm caught up. I got side tracked today & worked on backing up my photos. Tomorrow I'm prepping for craft day.
I was wondering where everyone went too. Do you think it's just the holidays? I enjoy this thread but I understand what you're saying. It's a lot of work for you so if you want to stop, I would understand.
VSN starts TODAY! 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Clear some space on your craft table and join in. I plan on playing. This is for cards mostly, but some of us do a lot of cards, too, and some of us do layouts for VSN. More participation in the card making side of the site.
Hey ladies! I just read thru the thread! I need to total up my work for the year. But I'm also hoping to finally start the scrapbooks for my nieces later today... I got the calendars finished and ordered Thursday. That was a huge relief. I got Christmas cards mailed out Saturday. Also a relief. I usually love doing Christmas cards...
Seriously, since my MIL passed in Aug, I have very limited creative energy. I WANT to play. I got my craft room tidied enough to have desk space last week but that's as far as it went. I did just schedule a bunch of blog posts, mostly of Christmas time pages that I've made this year (and shared here, ha), and I'm hoping to carry that burst of energy into these little scrapbooks. My 7yr old is not liking school this year, at all, so we've been trying to figure out what that's all about. She has an intern teacher, so I've been trying to work with the principal to determine if its an inexperienced teacher or what. My 18 yr old still doesn't have a car yet (working on it tho) so I'm chauffering those two quite a bit. And just staying on top of the critical stuff has been draining.
I also got sick in November- remarkably the first time I've been sick since BEFORE the world shut down! But that made for a hard month. So right now my focus is just making the season magical to make up for the hard things. ha. Like that's a thing........ But I AM uploading calendar pages now!
But that's where I've been. I do love this group and I usually love the challenges and participating. And I really love the inspiration you all share! But, I also recognize that it's a lot of work to keep up. I'm no help, but i'm glad you're here!

I appreciate this thread so much! It really helped me get moving on my pages! I wish I had more time for the challenges. I keep trying to work on them. I enjoy thinking about how I can do the pages to match the challenge. With that said, I don't want anyone to add any stress or work on what should be fun.
I did get my Christmas cards made and sent. I used a very simple design and am happy with it. I brought disney shaker cards I made to Disney and mailed them to my kids and my mother, they haven't arrived yet!

Tanya,
Grief is exhausting and draining in more ways than we realize. Just do what you can do.
My middle son had trouble in kindergarten with a temporary teacher. His original teacher had to take a medical leave, they brought in a retired teacher who was great. And then all of a sudden, they brought in another teacher! It was way too much for him. Then, this still bugs me-the new teacher changed the spelling of his first name on his paper work and when he got to first grade they thought that he couldn't even spell his name! He is 24 now and I still get worked up about it!
I hope you are feeling better! I love your calendar pages.

Here is another page for the VSBN. I will back later to catch up. Good to see you Tanya. I will go look at your layouts, too. We love you, too. We will be here.
Glad to "see" you here Tanya! It sounds like you've got a lot going on & being sick sure doesn't help. I'm sorry to hear your little one isn't enjoying school. Nothing worse than not knowing what's wrong. I hope it all works out.
I did 1 page today & it took some thinking but I got it to fit in the VSBN challenge #1. I've only done 2 but hope to get more done before the end of the year.
I'm only 1 page away from my YTD goal!! I really need to start getting ready for our Christmas Eve party & Christmas day dinner but I'm sure I can fit a page or 2 in before. After Christmas, I'll continue to work on them so I should be able to exceed my goal.
I’m hoping to scrap this week. I have to put a bunch of stuff away. I did some decorating today and had to relocate some of my supplies. Tomorrow I will put all the stuff away.

Well,t his month is flying by quickly! Our DD and family will be here on Friday for about a week. We are busy baking, cooking, grocery shopping and cleaning! In fact had to clean craft room so DGD can put a cot in there and sleep. So crafting pretty much done until after they leave. A person who might be familiar with my craft room wouldn’t know it right now, it is so neat. I will just tell her Do Not Open the closet door or any drawers! Something might explode! 🤣
she is 20 and won’t want to. She will be on her phone, or iPad! LOL. The two adult grandsons will share a bedroom, and DD & SIL will have their own bedroom. She is one that lucks out with cot in grandma’s craft room!
I hope all is going well for everyone this week. Anyone traveling?
Sharon, sounds like you've been busy prepping! You're so lucky your family will be with you for a week! You'll have so much fun!
I haven't done any crafting but I did get the photos on my photo backed up. I'm not ready for Christmas but getting close. We have decided as long as the weather is good we'll head to Florida on the 30th. I'll have to pack my scrapping supplies after Christmas but I'm at least going to get 1 page done before then so I hit my goal!
Luckily all of our family is close by. I might try to sneak in a page after work. My shopping and wrapping is done. I will bake later this week. My youngest is coming home tomorrow, I am so excited! I am making cards for fun when I can. I am trying to get ahead for the brak cards for 2024. I took my lunch break to work on a page for vsbn. I will link it later.

We had another round of sickness in the house so I need to do baking today. But I have gotten the scrapbooks for my nieces done, even with a binder cover! I'm hoping my son will count the pages for me, haha.... They're not identical, but they are similar. And I used up old stash for a lot of it, which is always a nice thing! We might be half done wrapping gifts.
In spite of the fact that my FIL and my parents live about ten minutes apart, and about two hours away from us, we're visiting my husband's dad and a few siblings on Saturday, and my family is gathering at my parents Monday, ha. So a little traveling, but not a lot.
And even tho I live in northern Utah and we're known for the "greatest snow on earth", there is a little rain in the forecast for Saturday..... and that is all. Sad!! We're praying for a White Christmas anyway!!
I hope you are all well!! Merry Christmas!
...I can't figure out how to share my Christmas card here, but it will be on my blog Monday, ha....

I still need to bake a few things. We are hosting Christmas breakfast. Christmas Eve and Christmas dinner is at my mother’s. For Christmas Eve, I convinced her to do an easy meal of chowder and appetizers. We have an excellent chowder restaurant here so we just need to warm it up. We haven’t done all the seven fishes since losing my father. We are going to have a bbq on Christmas. It is supposed to be 50. My father would bbq every holiday if he could! We are trying to keep the tradition going when we can. Again, we all live within 15 minutes of each other.
no scrapping today. I did get the waffleflower postage die with a few stencils so I played with that yesterday.

Hopefully everyone had a safe & Merry Christmas! We had our annual Christmas Eve party & big dinner today! I am exhausted! I was able to get one page done in between the prep! Yea I made my annual goal! I'm not sure I'll get to scrap any more this month but I'm going to try!
No official scrapping, but I did put together some paper wizard titles I bought this summer at ckc. Today my youngest turns 19. I should have craft time later. He is going to be house sitting for my middle son for a few days. We have lunch plans and then dessert here.

Happy post-Christmas to you! I hope you are all well! We're staying busy, even in this Christmas break. We're going to ring in the new year the five of us together, playing all the new games we got for Christmas and eating appetizers and junk food.
The calendars were a hit, except my FIL cried over his. It's okay, I cried making it.
My nieces loved their scrapbooks and my sister was so excited I did that for them. They are terribly simple, and just the way I used to scrap. ha...
But best of all, I have found my scrappy motivation and cranked out six digi pages in the last two days. Some I'm going to print and then add DP and journaling from my stash, but I can fit SO many more photos digitally than I can traditionally. So here's a complete layout, and me showing you how I did the books for my nieces, haha..
Oh, one of them got 24 pages and the other got 25, plus they got some of their art they "let me keep for something special" in their binder. Plus a scrappy cover, which I have NEVER done in all my years of scrapping. (and I've done possibly 30 binder style scrapbooks over the years) Anyway, I'll update my totals.
