I hit my monthly goal just now. I am also all but an index page done with the 2013 book I said I was going to make for my sons. I have it loaded into the Photobook America software and will put some finishing touches on it, wait for a decent coupon and then order 2 of them!!
Now to move on to finishing 2013 for me- I think there are about 20 or more un started pages and about 40 that just need journaling. I would really like to finish this in January-but that is a lot of work to finish!
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday, I am going to have to park my computer and go to Costco for dog food pretty soon!

This weekend is my last chance for some scrappin' this month as I'm off to Nashville for the next 2 weeks for work. I have to photo some pages I finished this week and finish up a baby card
All good here .... I just baked my B-day Cake (LOL!)

All good here .... I just baked my B-day Cake (LOL!)
Thanks for all the B-Day Wishes !!
My actual Bday is Tuesday but since I won't be here, we're celebrating today. I'm working on my "Bucket List by 50" page. I have 2 years until I get there and I have several things I'd like to have "done" by then. LOL! This college stuff is one of the items on the list. I'm not sure how it's going to help my career but I can at least say I finished another step, haha!
The MOJO is good here so I'm off to keep scrappin'

I am oh, so tired, and maybe I shouldn't have days off when I haven't scrapped for so long!!! I started yesterday, scrapped all day, got up again this morning and was back at it by 6-just finished for the day- about 14 hours of scrapping today and at least 12 yesterday!
I finished up a few more for 2013 earlier and then went back to the Smoky Mountain pages I started last summer. I had the photos and paper placed on 34 pages. I finished the journaling and inspection of each page tonight! Why or how is it I can go on a weekend trip and end up with 34 pages to show for it!
Any way they are done and I am even closer to finishing 2013. I am going to add the 34 to my total, even though I did about half the work on them last summer. Otherwise, I will never be able to keep track. I will post a couple of them tomorrow so you can see some of the beauty and the fun we had on that trip. If you haven't ever experienced the Great Smoky Mountains, they are beautiful!
Have a great night everyone...

It was a Scrappy Day here too, except for time out for cake, LOL! I'm supposed to be on a healthy eating plan but ... today, cake was on the menu!
Here's some pages I finished; (I decided to just keep scrappin' w/ the paper pack I had out since I had out all the papers & matching embellishments. It was quicker. I scrapped my last AZ Visit)
Kudos to everyone starting the year off strong and getting lots of scrappin' done! Here's my first layout of the year, hoping that I can pick up some momentum now
Those were great pages and you were really busy-wow!!!

Great Themed Party for a Crop & Shop!
We had a big mystery party on Saturday for our crop & shop. The Theme was "Cracking the C.A.S.E." All we were allowed to bring with us was two simply scrappin' kits, one spool of matching ribbon and brads, photos, a old mini catalog and white or vanilla card stock.
For the first part of the day or challenge was to find a scrapbook page in our old catalog that we liked and case it. But the catch was we had to "crack it" by solving the clues.... A little at a time! (We had to build our page a little at a time, just like a good old fashioned progressive page. First we made a 6x6, then 8 1/2 x11, followed up by making that into a 12x12, then finishing up by adding a second page. We had a lot of fun... The Hostess added in little fun mystery trivia games that kept the party alive and active.
For the second part of the day...our challenge was to start at the beginning of our old mini catalog, page by page and if we liked what we saw then we were to case it! Using only the supplies that we had brought with us. Everyone needs try this, at least just once... I got so many goodies made, not all of them were scrapbook layouts, but still fun. One thing, I might add is that we had access to the hostess' big shot, die cuts and punches.
I am subbing and working my new p/t job this week. Last week we had a lot going on and my new work schedule so no scrapping; but I was able to check in here and there. Life's a bit overwhelming right now but next week should be better and I hope to get back into the scrapping & exercising groove :-). I only sub for one teacher and I think this week will be the last for the year though I'm chaperoning the competition/conference in March for her.
Since I'm at school today, Th & F I should be able to get some digi pages started (& hopefully completed). I also want to get my dd1's grad announcements done this week if I can; somehow this is creeping up on me and not sure if I'm ready for it.
I hope you're all having a fabulous day and able to grab some scrappy time! :-)

What a day today....snow's almost 8" and still slowly coming down. Schools are already being delayed for tomorrow which if they can't get the roads cleaned (because of drifting) they'll close again. I'll have to go in cause I've got to do payroll...guess I should have done it on Monday but I didn't dream we'd get this much snow! Roads are very slippery...even the main highways so I always avoid driving if I can. Maybe I can get DH to put checks into my printer and I'll print them remotely so at least they will be done. If I have to stay home again tomorrow, I'll need to try and scrap some. Today I spent doing cooking, cleaning, and trying to get DGS to do his homework. DH called a few times so I had to go online and remotely print off things for him for deliveries. We let the guys go home early and they'll come in on Friday to make up the lost time.
I was able to get this month's digi challenge completed while subbing today. I love the TV/Film class ~ they are creating so I get time to create too :-)
