July 2009 Scrappin' Goal Challenge

Well ladies it is 2am on Saturday Aug. 1st. I got 6 pages done at a crop on Friday (31st) that puts me over my goal for July!!! Yay! This is the first month all year that I have met my goal (and of course I've never exceeded my goal either) So, I'm doing a HAPPY DANCE!!!!!

27 pages done for July!!!! Wooooo Whooooooo :-D

I finished my last five pages just in time yesterday... But I have no way of taking any photos to upload until later today, so I will post when I get back from my Vendor Event.


I met my goal of 25 pages completed, but, {sigh} I blew my budget for the month on a new SU! (gotta have that!) supply order yesterday.

I went to a friends to scrap last night and I got my July total to 8 pages. 2 short of my 10 page goal. I hope to be back on track this month.

I tried to stay up last night to reach my goal - no inspiration. I managed to complete 1 more page, but fell short by 5 pages. However - overall, I'm so happy that I have gotten way more pages done because of this challenge than I would have otherwise.

Most of my time has been spent on quilting. We have a fair in Aug that I am frantically trying to complete 3 quilts for. All the tops are now done, so 4 weeks left to get them actually quilted. I need more hrs in the day!!!!

Here is my page for this week's challenge..I used Sally's sketch SBSC201 but I did swap the 2 top pics in order to get the right effect for the "story". Also incorporated the digi challenge DGC039 as well!

Sadly, I once again did not reach my goal. I was only able to get 4 completed out of my 10...and that was because the miniVSBN inspired me to work on summer vacation pictures. Thank you for the VSBNs!!

Hey Girls,
Found out Tuesday that the School Board is considering closing my kids' school. Guess what this parent is now fully engrossed in?!?! Yep, fighting the 'consideration for closure' because it is unjust and wrong and they have no valid reason for closure. Send "Momma-power"!!!
