don't want to replace, just want to remove

thanks for the info, however, I am the point where I just want to remove the sticky mess and use the stamp unmounted. any suggestions there?

I know that they are no longer in business. Just need some advice as to how to get the old ez mount off and then I would just use the unmounted rubber. It is just so sticky and difficult to work...
