You go girl! Evidence that hard work and persistance and I must add, love for your daughter, pays off in a big way! Giggle! That is so very awesome..what a treasure! You are rocking this daughter having a baby stuff! Whoot...
Oh, and about Curt's high price, I'll take two! Snort!
Okay, I have something to show you all. I have been building a fairy garden! Giggle....
What fun this has been....the plants are real with the exception of the little flowers in the pots....and it has lights but I am not happy with the lights cuz they are not warm white.....but that will come later! This has been fun! Here are a couple of pictures but I need to take some close ups....
Cindy, this little fairy garden is beautiful!! Don't let Curt see it, he may just steal your idea!! And charge an arm and a leg for it to boot!
I don't see any teapots in there...
Well, Mudder, you sure have been busy - got a new love, other than cowboys now, huh?? Da MAN is gonna think you are going all soft on him or sumpthin'
Kidding aside, this is like a magical little place - can't wait to see the close-up pictures!!

Oh my word Mudder, this is flippin' fantastic!!! So intricate and tiny. I love tiny! I used to knit baby doll blankets using the picks for brush rollers. Too bad I am so old or I'd make you a blanket to hang on your fence in your tiny garden. hehe I really LOVE this. Your attention to detail always floors me. Love this BIG time!!! TFS :0)

Hi guys.....I missed Tickle a Teapotter this month because I had to make 120 table vase decorations for work for delivery today.....first of September! I thought I would show you what kept me busy this week! Ha! Here is a picture I took of the extras.......I packed up 120 of them and they are off to the restaurants this morning but I made about 20 extras because believe it or not, sometimes they get stolen right off the table at the restaurant! Geeze!!!!
Here's a shot of the extras. The one in the front is in the little vase they sit in. There is a little felt pumpkin attached to each! I had 4 extra felt pumpkins so I thought they would be cute on a card! Hee hee!
There ya' go, Cindy - add a price ticket to them and see how many get bought - you could have a booming business at your busy fingertips!!

OH MY WORD! I love anything Fairy related. This is just the cutest thing ever!!
speaking of making things. I am doing a craft fair this year and this one item I will be making. I love to repurpose things I seem to have an abundance of around my house. And jars would be one of those. This will hold a tea light.

Cindy, they are adorable. You'd better add a touch of SuperGlue and a heavy rock...
Do you do this every new season?
By the way, once in a while some one questions my sanity when I mention I craft in the motor home. I put a photo and explanation in my blog. Cards by Dorothy: Crafting in our motor home
There adorable Cindy!! If there still there when Arlene gets there, and your missing one from her table, thats cauze I told her to swipe one for me......
Cindy, jaw dropping darling times 120!!!!....correction, 140!!!!! LOVE these. So proud of you. I am sorry to say, but I might just be one of those people to "walk" off with one of these because they are just toooooo cute!. Okay, maybe these days I would just take a photo instead. WOW WEE! You have been one busy lady, but the results were fantabulous! I must come eat at one of these restaurants if and when I visit Colorado. Thanks for sharing these. Put big smiles on my face AND Curt's!!!! He's trying to figure out how he could market these. hehe You interested? :0)

Ha ha! Got a kick outa all of your comments! Super glue and a heavy rock! Good idear Dorothy! And to answer your question..I have done the table picks for alot of years....I make new ones once they start getting a little shabby looking....we have about 10 different picks that we run in the restaurants around the holidays and season changes....the last for a pretty long time, but it seems I am always working on upgrading something.....This year I am gonna be busy because the Valentine, January and Easter picks all need changing out....and I am probably gonna do a new one for october and november as well......Whew!!!
Curthy....I would partner up with Curt, the entramanure any day of the week! Giggle! Just as long as the split is fair! Giggle! Although just being around Curt in the work force would have me giggling all the time, not sure how productive we would be! Oh, by the way, Loveland just had its big sculpture show...there is one huge, huge, big ole Curt cow sculpture....I just have to get a photo of it and post it here.....note to self!

Cindy, can't wait to see the photo of Curt's sculpture.....You know, I see Curt EVERYWHERE! Just the other day, his big ole head was advertising a garage sale....for someone else! hehe Tried to catch a photo while driving, big no no, but it didn't turn out that good. Oh well, I'm sure he'll turn up somewhere somehow again! hehe :0)

I haven't snapped that picture of the Curt sculpture yet but here is one of Curt in Switzerland.....Word has it he's there to open up a Swiss Bank account! That entramanure makes big bucks these days!
That is so Curt's family! I was going to make this my bg picture on my computer, but his nose is sooooooo big! hehe Don't tell Curt I said that, he gets offended easy even if it is about his cousin. hehe

Wow. I just found this thread. Where have I been?? First, I love that video of Miss Cousins. I hope everyone had a chance to watch it. Dang if that little old lady ain't cute as a button. I don't live that far from Phili, so I am thinking I need to make a road trip and go meet her. I would love to sit and talk to her. Second, Mudder, that little Fairy Garden is the cutest. I love it. I don't think I would have the patience to do something like that. It's fantastic. And your little vase picks are too adorable. That's alot of pickin' you did..140 of them..wowza. Third, Margaret, those jars are beautiful. I love them. You did an outstanding job. With all the talent here in the Teapotters we need to open a Teapotters Shop.
Yippee - I'm back! After a long month of working on 50th Class Reunion stuff (3 day reunion), restoring our class's four, year long scrap books for the school and Deanery at my church for 11 parishes in the area, I have time to come back to SCS, which I TRULY missed! Attached is a scan of the three things I designed and either printed or made. The program cover, the bookmarks for 172 attendees and the name tags - all coordinated for the theme of the speaker, Fr Rocky of Relevant Radio, who is Nationally known. Both occasions turned out really well, but put pressure on me as they were 3 days apart. Also in these three days I had to go to Madison - 2 1/2 hours away for a HCE convention treasurer's class. Just too much at the same time!!! The one GOOD thing - all of this is NOT WORK for me - just extra play time!
Lots of work, but so appreciated by everyone attending and a tremendous amount of satisfaction for YOU for a job well done - glad to see you are Back!! Beautiful name tags, bookmarks and cover for the program!!
