Hello dear “Teapotters” I'm Anita (snietje) your hostess this week and I'm so happy to join this fantastic team,
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, your participation in Destination Station is 100% voluntary and not a requirement. Just have fun!
CHALLENGE:
What do we need when we feel cold...The Sun!! What do we need when we feel down… The Sun!! So I would like to see Sunny cards to bring warmth and happiness, use your favorite technique to make the Sun shine, coloring, stamping, die cutting ...whatever you want
DESTINATION STATION: We’re heading to Georgia this week to bring some paper sunshine and warm fuzzies to fellow stamper and friend AngelaBode (ohmypaper!).We found out that Angie was recently involved in a serious car accident and while {thankfully} she is ok she was pretty shaken up. Let her know we’re thinking about and wishing her a speedy recovery. SEND YOUR CARD TO: Angela Bode

I made two cards because I really wanted to send my kitty cats to Angie but I also wanted to be inspired by your beautiful choice of teapots. I used sunny flowers instead of an actual sun.
Isn't the Teapot TEAsers thread great! Remember to check it on Saturdays ( or subscribe to it using Thread Tools). The challenge hostesses will be doing their best to share a sneak peek of the upcoming teapot.

Anita, your sunshine challenge coordinated perfectly with the spring colors from this week's color challenge! My card, MMTPT494 Sunshine Wishes, will go out in tomorrow's mail.
I have had a this card in my stash and I find that it is so perfect for this. I sure hope sis Angie loves it as much as I do. All the brightness and yellows in this one represents the sun . So if it’s ok I’d like to send this one to sis Angie so I will be adding this keyword MMTPT494....
I just realized that I forgot to link my card in this thread. Eek! Sorry! Loved this sunny challenge. I used an old photo for the sky. Multimedia me. Here’s my card: Sending Sunshine by casep - at Splitcoaststampers

Ho my Goodness I just realized that I know her. I am very shock. Card in the mail on Tuesday. Please know that I am praying you Angie and we miss you! take care, Linda AKA hotwheels
Oh my!!! I can't say thank you enough!!!! I didn't realize I was the guest of honor for a tea party until last night when I happened upon a card in the gallery! Today my son retrieved the mail (I guess we forgot to get it on Saturday) and he came in overflowing with cards! Whoever coined the phrase, "a hug in an envelope" knew what they were talking about. I feel hugged! I have received cheerful sunshine for sure. Thank you so much. I am on the mend but impatient to be fully myself again and to feel good enough to do the things I did before. Thank you so very much for all the encouraging thoughts and prayers.
Isn't it lovely having a lot of cards and just knowing people were thinking of you? The first year I took part in a birthday card group was my 40th birthday, which was my first birthday after my mum died, and difficult on a couple of other counts too. All those cards I received were one of the best things that year. I made them into a screensaver and they cheered me for a long time. I'm glad you're enjoying your sunshine mail, Angie. I remember your Sunshine Box challenge a few years ago and thought Anita's challenge was especially suitable for you.

Yes!!! It's been gloomy here. Lots of rain which usually I love but I am not enjoying it at this time so all the sunshine cards have cheered me in so many ways! I love the idea of making a screen saver from the cards. I can't thank everyone enough!
I'm happy cards already arrived in your mail box Angie, mine will take a bit longer I think , and I'm happy the sunshine brought you a bit of comfort!!
Thank you all dear teapotters for this pretty and sunny gallery
Somehow I missed this Teapot Party for Angie...I think we were in the midst of the 2017 BEST notifying, and I wasn't making cards since my hand issue hiatus. BUT, I really wanted to try some cards with my new thumb braces on...clumsy, but so far doable!
Here is my card for Angie, and it is in the mail and on the way tomorrow: Thinking of You Pandas. Angie get's a little glazed sunshine peeking through the bamboo forest!
