Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
Anyone is welcome to play in the weekly Teapot Challenge - the more, the merrier! You automatically become a “TEApotter” the first time you play. Where will you find inspiration? Will it be from the teapot? The destination location? Something of the recipient? Or could it be from the challenge itself? Remember, sending your card to the listed guest of honor is 100% voluntary - it's not a requirement but will be very well appreciated. Just have fun!
This week's challenge hostess is: peeps321/Polly
Our Teaparty this week was requested by Denise-card crazy. Her friend’s daughter Abbie who was pregnant had a stillbirth in August. A friend of Abbie’s wanted to honor her and the baby, Veda, and requested that people from all over send a message to her. Abbie wants to bring awareness to stillbirth. See the attached note. You may choose to take a photo and send the message to our recipient or perhaps just write the statement inside your card.
Challenge: Use an angel on your card
Include the following statement inside:
Veda, your mama’s love for you is so powerful that your name was heard all the way in _________________( fill in your location.)
CARD TYPE/THEME: Thinking of You, Sending Caring Thoughts, Hugs

Do you know someone that could use some well wishes, encouragement or all around warm fuzzies? Consider nominating them as a guest of honor (a.k.a. destination station) for an upcoming tea party. Send your request to Jennifrann via PM or e-mail [email protected]. Include SCS Teaparty Request in the subject line.

I am sending a card from my stash. I have hung onto this card for awhile waiting for the right occasion. I think this is it. It's in a Fan Club Gallery so I apologize to those who aren't able to open the link if they tried. CT0621 Guardian Angel by DebbieinOC at Splitcoaststampers
Such a sweet and thoughtful thing for her friend to begin. I hope Abbie gets mail from every corner of the world. Thanks for hosting Polly and thank you Denise for bring us this opportunity to support your friend's daughter. Hugs Everyone.

I am shocked to discover I don't have a single angel die nor stamp in my huge collection... so I had to resort to printing a digital image from the computer. It came out okay, but I prefer to make cards 'by hand' and not digital images. Also, my desk computer is now telling me I don't have enough space to open images, so I have to resort to my new Tracfone cell phone.. UGH...
Thank you Polly for hosting this challenge, and hugs to Denise for supporting your friend's daughter in her sorrow. I only have three angel stamps in my "collection", and this one seemed the best fit, even tho it is a very old stamp! Here is my card for Abbie: On My Mind
(The card looks better IRL; I need to find a better spot to take photos of my cards, sigh. I moved into a bigger room for my crafting space, and just can't find the "sweet spot"!)

A message from Abbie's dad: I want to thank you all. Abbie told me all about the cards she has been getting from everyone from everywhere, it means so much to me and Abbie, thank you!
