TLC671 ~ Everything Old is New Again: Black and White ~ {1/1/18}

We are so excited for this new year of crafty goodness and hope that you join in more challenges this year than ever before!
Our Technique Lovers Challenge Team is also so happy to have Dirty Dozen Alum Lyn Tomlin (aka Rebeccaof) joining our hostess team. Lyn will be bringing you her ideas and inspiration on the third Monday of each month. So we look forward to that later this month! Welcome Lyn!
The first Monday of each month, Sabrina and I take turns hosting a challenge that looks back at an old challenge. There are so many wonderful ideas in our TLC Forum, and we hope that you enjoy revisiting techniques that you may have missed, or would enjoy doing again. Some are more involved, and some are very simple, like this week's!
Because it's New Year's Day, I chose a simple technique that everyone can take part in! We are taking a peek back at TLC84 - Black and White cards!
Please use ONLY black and white, and gradient shades of those colors.
You can take a peek at the gallery for TLC84 for inspiration, as well as my sample below.
Our keyword is TLC671 and you can also add TLC84 if you like.

Happy New Year to everyone!! I'm glad this is a quick and (fairly) easy challenge today as I didn't get much sleep last night . . . Not because I was partying so late but because the neighbors woke me up at midnight with an hours worth of fireworks. . .bang . .bang . . .bang . . . didn't get back to sleep for hours . . . . oh well, at least I can start the New Year right by making a card!!

For today's black and white challenge, I went with a snowy road, made with torn paper, with die cut trees highlighted with stickles. Used a vintage stamped dp background, and added a black die cut border. It's a representation of my DD's trip back to school in the East Here's Snowy Trip
