TLC704 ~ Pairing Fonts ~ {8/20/18}
Sooooo, it is the third Monday of the month and it is my turn to challenge you...
I have been seeing some great sentiments lately and I L-O-V-E the look of mixed fonts in a sentiment. My challenge for you today is to dig through and see what sentiment pieces you can mix up and/or create something new! I found this great resource to give you tips on what works - You will find it
HERE .
I created some 4"x4" cards today. I dug through different stamp sets and combined words from some sets, created words from alphabets sets and created new sentiments. It was lots of fun and a great way to stretch your stamps!
Don't forget to HAVE FUN with it!!

Great idea for a challenge. I can't tell you how many clear sentiment stamps I have cut into two to be able to "mix & match" them. Thanks.
THANK YOU

Does it count if I use one stamp that already has mixed fonts?

This was a fun challenge. Fortunately, I had a sentiment stamp that mixed the fonts for me!

Great challenge. When I was checking my sentiments, it seems many of the newwer ones have sentiments with mixed fonts. I decided to go with sentiment from 2 different sets.
Here is my card for your challenge--

Here is a very easy card for today. since the paper had the mixed fonts on it I just let it do the work! Maybe I'll get another one done as well.

Pairing fonts is a great technique. I like to do it with die cut words and stamps. Here's a card that could be used for a wedding or an anniversary.

Lyn this was a fun challenge! While a lot of stamp sets already have a mixed font greeting, I really enjoyed mixing pairs between 2 different stamp sets. Here is my

Here's
my card . The Sunny Studio Bold Balloons set had the perfect coordinating fonts for the sentiment, but the balloons I used came from the separate Birthday Balloon set.

I needed a birthday card for my daughter and had a new stamp set that was begging to be used. My first card is nice, but doesn't scream my daughter as it is quite plain.
TLC704 Happy Birthday in Oval by lovinpaper - at Splitcoaststampers
This card has more detail and the paint splatters are more fitting for this daughter. She isn't a painter, but she draws and creates all of the time.

Thanks for a fun challenge.
