Hello Dear Crafty Friends,
I'm hosting my last TLC today and wanted to say a big Thank You to all of you who've been following my challenges, Thank you also to our great TLC Team especially Sabrina who does a big job behind the screen.
I had a great time being your hostess here and sharing some fun challenges with you.
You know I'm a fun fold lover, so today we're going to make an easy fun fold
A DOUBLE TWISTED ANGLE EASEL
All you'll need is paper, some scoring and cutting and embellishing, here's a sample:
Step 1: You need a sheet from 11" /8" (28.5 cm/21 cm)
on the 11" side you score at 3 1/2" and 7", (9 and 18 cm) turn your paper and on the 4" (10.5 cm) you cut at the bottom 3 1/2" (9 cm) and at the top 4" (10.5 cm)the 3 1/2" (9 cm) in the middle is a scoring line
This is how it looks once folded, now you've got the base and can finish with whatever you like, stamping, die cutting, painting, have fun!!
You'll find some samples in the thumbnails and the template
I wish you all the best for the coming New Year, keep on crafting and stay in good health!!
Remember to use the keyword TLC879 when you are uploading. It's helpful if you come back and leave a link on this thread, especially in case you made a typo and people may not find your card.
If you're not sure how to link your card on the thread here, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one window for your card and one for this thread. 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
I hope you'll enjoy this challenge as much as I did, I've made plenty of these for my Christmas markets and they're all gone
Here are my samples: Sample 1 Sample 2 Sample 3 Sample 4
I want to add my thanks to you Anita for all your wonderful TLC challenges! Thank you for sharing all your great fold instructions with us...I'm sure that took a lot of time to come up with those and make lots of samples. I know we'll still see your cards in the gallery :p Hugs
Though all the TLC hosts do a great job, I have IMMENSELY appreciated the time and effort you have put into each and every one of your challenges, including the lengths you go to to break down seemingly hard-to-comprehend techniques into bite-sized, easy-to-understand steps - and simple to follow along! I look at your challenges, view your instructions, and usually always think "I can do that!!!"
THANK YOU for all you have done for us! Though I haven't gotten to participate too often, I have definitely wanted to join in each round. Your work here will be missed but forever appreciated!
With gratitude and warm winter blessings,
Chrissy
