Default Flowers in April Mini Catty?

Ok... those 3D flowers in the new (April 09) mini catty are DARLING... anybody know how to make them? A couple look as if a strip was "fringed" with scissors and rolled... the other....???

Hi---the mini catty flowers are made with the Big Shot machine and the Build a Flower Set #2 sizzlits die set using the Walk in the Park DSP. I do believe you are right about the fringe flower--being cut with a scissors and assembled. That's what I would do. Happy stamping!:-D

Default Occassions Mini - page 9

When I owned my party store we made and sold thousands of flowers similar to the one you are talking about. We made them with 2" wide ribbon that you make bows with. We would split the ribbon with a ribbon splitter - roll it up around floral wire or a balloon stick with floral tape. This is the first time I have added pictures - so hopefully I did it correctly and all 3 are here.

Here are a couple more pictures. If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator - log in on the demo side. Go under Show & Tell - drop down line Pattern Library - 2 Mini Flowers. They have patterns for the a couple of the flowers - but no directions.

There is a pattern on the SU! website for the flowers, but no directions. Anyone have them?
