Talking How to sanitze stamps for stamping in chocolate???

Somewhere.... probably here on Splitcoast, I read about stamping on chocolate - you warm the flat side of a chocolate bar with your heat gun and then press your stamp down on it. But it didn't say how to sanitize the stamps first. Any ideas???

Just a bit of bleach in water will sanitize anything. I would dampen a cloth with water and a touch of bleach, let the stamp set on the cloth a couple of minutes and you should be good to go. That is how you sanitize in a restaurant.

I would wipe the stamp down with rubbing alcohol and then wash the stamp (maybe even using a tooth brush to get into all the tiny crevices) with soap and water to remove the alcohol taste.

I read an article about this I think in Martha Stewart mag a few years back. They were stamping on cookies though. They recommended using only new stamps, not ones that had ever been used with ink. I'm not sure if I would be able to get my stamps clean enough, even with alcohol or bleach to be sure all traces of ink and stamp cleaner were off of them.
