i love this site... but sometimes looking for stuff is hard.. with so many threads and posts.. so i apologize for starting another thread .. but
where do you buy cd cases?
i know some people buy from sleevetown.com.. which seems to be a great site.. but i know there is somewhere online that sells cd cases w/ out the middle part in them.. you have the option to buy the middle part also..and they arent the cd calander cases..
I know what you are talking about, and I remember this being discussed, but I don't remember where it was, so I'll bump this for you and hope you find your answer.
I thought sleevetown also sold the cases w/o the insert but you have to search around the site a bit. I found a pack of 50 regular cases at BJ's (similar to a Costco) for $9.99. They do have the inserts but they are very easy to pop out (gently at 2 corners). My first option is always a local store, no s/h.

I just ordered 200 standard cases from PolylineCorp.com without the inserts. With the shipping the total was $40.91. They shipped the same day (yesterday). They did ask for my business name so I am not sure if they sell to individuals. I will let you know how they look when they get here.
I bought mine at Staples. Can't remember how much they were but they were inexpensive. Be sure to get the thick CD covers for stamp storage (if that's what you are doing.)
I don't know if this is exactly what you want, but Sam's Club has packs of colored jewel cases. I don't know the price as I have never purchased any. You could check their online site, though.
I'm in Sarasota, FL and I found the cheapest ones were at K Mart. I'm not 100% sure of the price, but seems to me they were around $2.99 a package....cheaper than Staples, Wal-Mart, Office Depot, Target...I checked them all.
Just be sure to get the full size cases and not the thin cases.

This thread is so timely for me! I went to three stores yesterday - Staples, Target and WalMart - and none of them had the standard cases with removable inserts!! I was so discouraged! I ended up ordering them from meritline.com because they had free shipping. I refused to pay $9-$12 shipping on an order under $20. I got 100 for $22.99. Good luck!

Here's where I got mine - www.effectuality.com. They have both the regular cd cases and the calendar cases. I got 75 of each. I think the calendar case is just a wee bit thinner but not enough to worry about. There came very quickly and even with shipping were cheaper than I found anywhere else, especially for that number.
