Hi, I bought mine about three months ago. I still have a Quickutz Squeeze, an old Red Sizzix, and my 'Bug. I was looking at the various machines, and it seemed to me the biggest problem was that as soon as you settled on a machine, companies started bringing out bigger dies/folders that wouldn't fit some machines. So I decided to save up & get the biggest machine I could find, which is the BS Pro. I figure no-one is going to make anything this machine can't take. At the moment, it will take every die available, including Nesties, Grand Nesties, Tim Holtz, Bigz etc. My machine will take a full 12x12 sheet of paper on the tray.
Do be aware that there are a variety of plates & shims available, which you will need for various 'sandwich' stacks, and certainly over here(UK), the machine only came with a couple. That said, I did not find the other plates expensive to purchase.
Also, you want to have a place to use the BS Pro where you will not need to move it. It is very large and very heavy. The Big Shot Pro Machine measures approximately 24 1/4" x 15" x 7 1/2". ( This is their measurement, but you need to add on about 6" to the width of 15" to allow for the handle). It weighs in the region of 44lbs.
I find it easy to use, the handle turn is about the same as a 'Bug. I love the fact that I can put multiple Nesties or embossing folders on a tray and cut/emboss them all at the same time. You can cut/emboss multiple anything as long as the dies are the same thickness.HTH.
