Red face Bunch o questions

Could someone please explain to me the card and envelope sizes? A2, A6, etc. Also, I have been looking at www.clearbags.com for clear envelopes, but am unsure what size to order for my "regular" sized cards...I guess they are 4 1/2 x 5 1/2???? Man, do I feel stooopid!!!

I found some envelope and card size information HERE. I printed a copy and keep it next to my craft table. Hope this helps.

Don't feel stoooopid. We have all been there at one time. I will try to answer your questions, but anyone with better chime in if I'm wrong.
Envelopes:
The A2 is 5 3/4" x 4 3/8" and fits you standard 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" greeting card.
(8 1/2 x 11 sheet cut in half and then the half folded in half) clear as mud.
The A6 is 6 1/2" x 4 3/4" and fits a card 6 1/4" x 4 1/4"
The A7 is 7 1/4" x 5 1/4" and fits a card 7 x 5
Clear bags
I purchase the B4B5NF to hold a standard A2 size card and envelope, and I also purchase the B7B1NF the hold a half sheet of 8 1/2" x 11 and excessories for workshops, classes and SAS. I hope I was of some help.
