I've seen the color caddy and like the fact that you can turn it but I've only seen the craft locker in a picture and wasn't sure if it would hold all my SU stamps and if I'd room to store it.

I bought the craft locker for all my stamp pads and then returned it because I did not like it at all...

Would you care to tell all of us WHY it was that you didn't like it? Sometimes a person has a set up that doesn't work for them but it might work for someone else. Or was it a quality issue? What was it that made you feel like you didn't want it?

After looking at it, the biggest drawback I see for me personally is that I like to have all of my ink pads in one location. If you own all of the classic and all of the craft, you would need nine of these critters. AT $40 a pop, sheesh!

Now, what I did like was the wheel and handle holder. Hadn't seen that before. You could get a couple a store handles in one of the drawers and your cartridges in another.

This is what I have and I absolutely love it. You've got your ink pad, reinker and marker right there next to each other and right at your fingertips. It may seem a little expensive, but if you're going to invest in an ink storage unit, it's so well worth it.

I just order the color caddy with my great rewards points. I have one of those wooden ones with the place for your markers and reinkers but only have enough room for the 48 classic pads and such. I got the color caddy for the extras like the black and New incolors and stuff. Whatever you get make sure that there is extra room so you don't need two.

Forgot to mention that this one holds 60 ink pads, 60 reinkers, 60 markers... plus 40 wheels.

Have you noticed the new banner ad on SCS? Its for a website that sells a stamp pad organizer. Looks good - here is the link:

I found a group of "men's club" that will make in pad storage for me. You can get it customized to whatever you want on it for $100. I told them if they go low enough I can get them more customers. Anyone else interested?

Here is my problem. I am looking for a storage solution that is mobile. I go to alot of crops but I never know which ink I will need. Yes, I have to boxes of the spots, but they don't help when you want to use your big background stamps. So what is a good solution for this?

I got my ink storage at the following website:

http://www.cdjdesigns.com/catalog/

I love it and it is transportable.

I just posted this in another thread. I have both, and like them both for their different purposes.

I just got the extender for my color caddy and am loving it even more. For some reason, it spins even more smoothly now than before. I love have all my classic pads, including the neutrals and in colors on my desktop. It's very, very handy for stamping.

I opted to get a Craftlocker for my craft ink pads. I do not keep this on my desktop but put it away when I'm done scrapping. I like that it is portable, holds all my craft pads, about 14, plus the markers. You can also customize it with different drawers, which I did to hold some other items I just use for scrapping.

Both the color caddy and the Craftlocker ink and marker lockers were pricey compared to using something else - but like others have said - there is lots of storage in a small footprint so I can keep more on my desktop.

PS I got my Craftlocker from Hilltop Memories and it was much cheaper than Craftlocker directly. I had to get the drawers from Craftlocker, and their lowest shipping charge is high compared to the small order I had, but those are the breaks.
