Default Copic Classes... beginner, advanced & certification

FINALLY a Copic certified instructor is coming to Boise! It was going to be Sherrie Siemens but now it's going to be Jennie Black.

Originally offered was a beginner class (Saturday at 7 p.m.) at a local LSS and the certification class the next day (Sunday) at a hotel. Since that's what was offered I signed up for both classes not knowing for sure if I would truly need the beginner class. Now a new class has been offered: an advanced class. BUT it's scheduled BEFORE the beginner class on the same day (Saturday at 3:30). Am I unique in that I find that odd?

So now I'm wondering if I should a) sign up for the advanced class that's scheduled before the beginner class as well as attend the beginner class, or b) see if I can switch my paid registration for the advanced class.

I know the basics about the copic markers as I took an online class from Colleen Schaan and I have used them a bit (altho I still suck at it!).

What do you ladies think? I'd love to hear from those who have taken the beginner and advanced class and see what you think.

Thanks much!

I say take the advanced class. You will most likely be bored in the begginer class learning "about" the markers. You would most likely get more hands on tips on how to correctly use them in the advanced class.
