I have a Cuttlebug and I love it. I got it for the embossing folders. But I am also starting to get more of the die cuts. I like the Cuttlebug because of the cost. It's less expensive than the Cricut. And the Cricut doesn't emboss. JMO

You need both but for different reasons

I use my CB to emboss and my e-bug for cutting. I like the fact that I can make the cuts in any size that I like with the e-bug.

Default I have a cuttlebug

and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!!
The embossing folders are wonderful and I have some dies........so cute.
I can't wait for the new releases in January, there will be combos (this cuts nd embosses an image)!!

I use it for cards as I don't scrapbook. I can imagine that when you're a scrapbooker you probably get more out of the cricut.......for cutting letters/numbers etc..

OH, and dies from other companies (nestabilities and such..) can be used on the Cuttlebug with great results.

Now, have I told you I LOVE my cuttlebug:rolleyes:

Oh my! The Cuttlebug appears to be the popular one. My Honey-Bear Santa asked me the other day if I saw anything in the new Tiffany catalog that I want (you just have to love him!). I said, "No, I think I want a Cuttlebug." Of course, he has no clue what that is so I am going to send him a picture.

I love Tiffany jewelry but you can only have so much jewelry, especially since I only wear a few pieces. Why waste the money. BUY ME SCRAPPING STUFF!

I say you ask Santa for a Cricut. I think it would be easier to ask for a cuttlebug for a birthday or something later.

I have both. I use the Cuttlebug for embossing and the Cricut I will be getting for Christmas from my Santa. I will be using that for cutting. I have already played with the Cricut some and I already know that I am going to love it.

Enabler alert: The small cricut will be on sale at Walmart on Black Friday. The link is posted above.

Well I recieved my cuttlebug today....and I am already in love - I have used nestablities dies in in, ordinary brass embossing plates, as well as cuttlebugs own brand stuff....for the price its wonderful.

If I could, I would get Santa to buy me the Cricut...it would be easier to save for the cuttlebug on my own;)
