After doing the versamark/classic ink trick a number of times, with several different demos at stamp camps etc. I've never gotten the results I really liked. Image seems too spotty and not enough color etc. Since last summer I've been mixing a drop of whisper white with a drop of classic color reinker and dabbing it on my stamp with a piece of cosmetic sponge or dauber. Works like a charm! I also SU Craft stamp pads in basic colors, red, blue, green, brown. A drop of versamark reinker plus drop of color works too.
