Default fiskars plates and the cuttlebug

Is this what I do:

Starting at the bottom and working up;

A plate
B plate
Fiskars texture plate
B plate

and put it thru the cuttlebug?

I don't think that's quite right. Here's a link to Cat's Sandwich Stack Rules
Forums at Splitcoaststampers

I think it's A plate, Texture plate, Cardstock, Silicone Rubber BISK pad (or gasket or whatever), BISK black plate.

Be sure you spritz your cardstock first. Makes a BIG difference in how well the pattern embosses.

Ok, I was close, but giving you info on Ellison texture plates, instead of Fiskars!

Here's what Cat says:
Plate “A”, Fiskars texture Plate, Cardstock, tan Wizard pad, black or tan Wizard pad, (possible Cardstock shim,) Plate “B”
Also try:
Plate “A”, Fiskars texture Plate, Cardstock (lightly misted with water), 2 layers Fun Foam, Chipboard Shim, Plate “C”
Also try:
Plate “A”, Fiskars texture Plate, Cardstock (right side towards TP), Rubber Plate (made from Plumber’s rubber gasket), Plate “C”

This is so helpful. Thank you, Thank you! I've been afraid to try anything but bug dies and embossing folders since I have heard B plates can break!
I'm going to bite the bullet and give it a try. Now, if I can only find the BISK OR WIZARD pads!

I tried:

Plate A
Fiskcars
Lightly misted cardstock
2 layers fun foam
plate C

and it won't even go thru the CB - this is even leaving out the chipboard shim.......

So, I have a related question. I don't have the CB but I have been using the embossing folders in my sizzix, which as well all know works fine.

The fiskars plates don't work in the sizzix as well do they? Looking at them, I can't imagine they do, but it would be neat if they did.

I don't doubt this, but all my embossed cardstock is bumpy and warped from the misting. What are folks doing to get around this? I'm all into happy accidents and organic crafting, but the warped cardfronts aren't doing it for me.

I would remove one layer of fun foam.
Then make a cardstock shim. Don't forget to mist!
Just keep building-up layers till you get the impression you want.
One piece of cardstock can make a big difference.
When I run my sandwich stack through it is really tight.

Make sure you are truly misting and not wetting it. Hold the bottle back a couple of feet. You just want the card damp. I do both sides. You can see no wetness, you just feel that it is limp and damp. None of mine warps or gets bumpy.
