Default SU & CTMH Acrylic blocks

Who has both, used both or seen both? What do you think of them? I have a full set plus storage case of the CTMH blocks but was wondering if I need to get the set of SU ones to go with my SU unmounted sets I getting ready to buy?

I have most of the CTMH blocks because I MUCH prefer the thickness. However, I plan to get the large SU block that fits the large bg stamps. I like the guideline on the CTMH blocks though.

I have the SU blocks - haven't seen the CTMH - so I'm not making a comparison here.

I love the SU! blocks as they are easy to grip and they are smooth. The other set of blocks I have (sorry, can't remember where I got them) hurt my hands after a bit because the edges are straight - not beveled - like the SU! ones.

I have both. The CTMH blocks rock! The SU cling mounted stamps, not so much. They don't cling worth a flip, especially if you put the stickers on. I'm not impressed.

I have blocks, from TAC and have used a friend's CTMH blocks. The TAC blocks are thick but have the straight edges - not so nice. The SU blocks I bought are gorgeous! All sides are made to fit your hand and feel wonderful. The only advantage of the CTMH blocks in my opinion, is if you want grid lines on your blocks. I stamp on grid paper so that isn't an issue for me. HTH

Default SU Blocks

I have only used the SU blocks so far. They are nice and thick with nice edges for a firm grip. What I really did not like is that they seem to magnify the paper you are stamping on so it is hard to line things up in my opinion.

Like an earlier poster, I have the CTMH blocks and the case for storage. I love my CTMH blocks and the ease of carrying them when I want to go away from home..... I have only 1 so far from SU...... it is one of the smaller blocks ("C" I believe) I like the feel of it but I'm not sure I will order many of them because of the storage problem and ease of carrying them away from home. I don't like having the blocks thrown into a basket etc. for storing and having to dig around for the correct size I need to use......just my own opinion.....

I have neither. I bought so many of the Prairie Stamper blocks and they are fine-no grip but they are good enough for me. For now.
Sorry, I read it wrong!

However, my demo was having problems getting the SU unmounted stamps to stick to the SU blocks, so I don't think they stick any better to the SU blocks either.

The only advantage I can see to the CTMH blocks is the fabulous storage case! The CTMH blocks have indents on two sides, the SU ones have them on all four. Every edge is rounded, no sharp corners, and they are truly a joy to hold. I'm hoping SU will come up with a good storage solution soon.
