Perfect challenge, Julia! I love using stuff I've collected or saved. Here's my No Legged Chicken. TFL and I'll return after dinner to view and comment.
Here is my frugal find. Laughing Cow cheese container! When I went to throw this away just last week, I said "I bet I can make something from this" - so I stashed it in my stamping room. The timing of this challenge was perfect!
One of my favorite frugal finds is hand-cutting my own flowers. I stamp various flower stamps on scraps of cardstock or designer paper and clear emboss them. Then I can sit down with detail scissors and cut away. I love being able to make flower embellishments any color I want. Here's my card featuring several small hand-cut flowers:

Well I didn't use anything all that interesting! Frugal for me was using supplies I already had, nothing new, and some really old thread from my sewing days!
This was a fun challenge. Have a great break. Thanks for all your creative challenges!
I've combined this challenge with Wed's sketch challenge: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Here's mine...I used a couple of buttons from my dresser drawer that came on some sweater or shirt I purchased who knows when! Of course, as soon as I send this to someone, I will need one of them!!
Here is my take on frugal finds: Bird Nests
I combined this challenge with the inspirational challenge for today and was frugal by using a print from my 2008 calendar which I saved. Thanks for looking!
Recycled Card is the name of my card for this challenge.
