Fun, fun, fun
I got to stamp with Mary Brown today. She brought over the color combo for the ColourQ challenge and we started stamping. When we looked at this challenge, I thought I could incorporate it in my card on my vertical strip of the card. The main image had was already done.

Ahh, this is going back to my roots. I started stamping and making cards almost solely using embossing powders. My card today is all about sparkle and shimmer.

These are for the Ways to Use It Challenge today to use embossing.
For this
Lovely Snowy Tree , I pulled this tree piece out of the UFO box and used embossing to put some snow on the branches & to make a snowstorm on the main card and made my first Christmas card of the year.
Eastern Resist came about because the whole time I was working on the tree card, I kept thinking that this was a perfect time to try the emboss resist technique that I have admired for so long.
I think I will be using this technique quite a bit now that I have tried it.
Thanks for the challenge Julia.
Thanks for looking.

Since the base of my bookmark was recycled packaging and quite "slick," I heat embossed it for durability of my bookmark. Heat embossing was perfect for this. Thanks!
