In my own personal stamping, I have three ongoing "series". Colour therapy, which was mostly during my dad's last few years. Stressful and busy as life is now, I haven't created anything with this title for a while. But always ongoing are what I call "rescue the perishing" and "fragments that remain". There's a bit of overlap between them. but rescue the perishing specifically entails using something that was a fail or somehow messed up. It can also include using something that would otherwise be thrown out - a mask left after you've finished the project (and darn it, I had one on my desk for several months but I think I ended up binning it), or your piece of paper from brayering off, or the tissue in your spray-box. I hope you get the idea, Any questions, I'm not in work today so can easily respond to queries here. (Fragments that remain is simply spare coloured images, die-cuts,etc that linger around the desk). My card uses a card front I made for another challenge back in 2017. The sponging was the last thing I did, and I got little blotches right over and to the left of the bird's head. Not what I wanted to send out, so I put it aside and started over again. I used to come across it every now and again while tidying my desk, and when we had a Speech Bubbles WT last year, I had the idea of adding a speech bubble to cover the boo-boo. And I spent ages trying to find it and couldn't. But it surfaced again in a post-Christmas tidy, so here it is with a speech bubble and a little bee to cover the two blotches in the sponging.
Once you've created your own card with something that would otherwise be perishing (ie binned) , upload it with the keyword WT937, and then come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card and is helpful in case of typos with the keyword. Make sure to tell us what you used that was your "rescue".
If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how: 1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread 2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link. 3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on) 4. Click EDIT. Click COPY 5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
And my thanks as always to the team for their great rescue samples.

Sabrina- thank you for your challenge, perfect for me! While talking on the phone with my sister I put together this card- going for a collage with a distressed look- had some creased wrapping paper I used as my background, and added 2 shabby ribbons. Here's Winter Collage

Sabrina- colored this hydrangea last night and scooped up all usable fabric strips. Glued to the back of a pink mailing label, covering the print showing through. Here's Hydrangea Hello

I've got a drawer full of mistakes, and a drawer with cards I don't like a lot and sometimes i take one and recycle it, here's my card for today: Saved from the Bin
This is indeed a great challenge, and I have a number of cards I plan to make. My first one uses two things I was going to toss out: the piece of mail (copy paper weight) that I used when sponging, and the big (ugly) floral die cut. Green Cherry blossoms by yellowrose46 at Splitcoaststampers

I am so happy to know that I'm not the only person who 1) has a messy stamping surface, 2) sometimes loses stuff in the mess, and 3) holds onto things with the assumption that I'll find a way to make it work.
Combined this so awesome challenge- using a repurposed gold mailer for my background and a to go paper cup with geometric designs right behind my racecar image. Dedicated to my DS who's just finishing his medical residency program and is also turning 30 tomorrow. Here's You're Going Places!
