Framed tribute to my mother who died in 2002. The photo is her engagement photo and the buttons adorning the frame are from her button box. I used more mustard marker to ink a portion of the stitching stamp to fit around the photo and a portion of the button border. The vanilla cs was lightly stippled with creamy caramel. The collage stamp was aged with more mustard.

You must have loved your mother very much. This is the most touching picture that I have ever seen on SCS. Thank you for sharing and I'm sure many of us will be making this for our own mothers.

Oh my gosh. This is beautiful. My mother died in April of 2003 and my sister and I made similar shadow box's with the program from her funeral, lace hankies we found in her drawer, angel pins that she wore all the time, and one rose from the flowers that she was entombed with. I am a mother of two but it sure is hard to have mother's day come and not have my own to share it with. While all the other mother's day cards are beautiful, this is the best one on here!! Thanks so much..I needed that!

You guys are making me cry! My 83 year old Mom is still alive and well but on borrowed time and it is a gift to us all! I will save this in my favorites and hopefully get one done in time enough for her to see it! Did I mention that this is just absolutely beautiful! So classic and timeless! Love it!
