I love the teapot that Cindy picked for today's challenge found on her blog here: http://mothermark.blogspot.com/
I knew right away what I wanted to do for my snowman. I tore three different white circles. I paper pieced a scarf out of light blue cardstock and a hat out of light blue cardstock and black cardstock. I drew the face on with colored pencils. The eyes were punched out of black with white gel pen for hightlights. I hand cut the branches out of brown cardstock. I added -SNOW- to the branches with my white colored pencil. I made my cardinal based on the cardinal made by Mercedes Weber. You can see it on her blog found here: http://mercedesweber.blogspot.com/
The snow at the bottom was a piece of torn white cardstock with glue and glamour dust. The snowflake was made by quilling white carstock. I added a rhinestone and glamour dust to make it sparkle. The background was dark blue cardstock that I stamped -SNOW- by stamping bitty background stamps with white craft ink. Let me know what you think.

You are always right on with the challenge and this is no exception. Your lovely quilling, this snowflake and one I saw yesterday, has almost inspired me to get out my quilling tools and try something. Almost being the key word here!

You're going great guns with the quilling, MariLynn. I got my papers out - and put them away again. Your snowy background is great, as is your snowman.
