This is a card I made yesterday for Sharon Stamp Simply Challenge - to make a card suitable to give to a senior citizen. It could be vintage, humorous, or anything else inspired by seniors. Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
Yesterday was Sharon's birthday, too! Happy Birthday, Sharon!
I don't have any humorous seniors stamps so I went with a sort of vintage theme. I used Anna Griffin DP that reminds me of wallpaper you might see in a Grandma's house. I used some unknown linen-looking CS for the dotted panel and to stamp my images. I stamped the rose images with Memento Rich Cocoa and colored them with Copic markers. Popped those up on foam tape over some ribbon and lace trim.
Thanks, Sharon, for the fun challenge and Tamara, for the great sketch!
TFL!

What an absolutely gorgeous card!!! I love the trio of rose panels and that gorgeous DP!!! Your embossing and the pretty ribbon are fabulous touches!!! The colors are so soft and pretty -- and I think this is just THE perfect card for a more seasoned citizen -- LOL!!! So glad you could play -- thanks so much!!!
