Uh...Ok then. So this is one of those cards that looked better in concept than reality. The challenge was to to alter patterned paper in some way. I think it's the thick edging of Stickles that bothers me--borderline gaudy. If I'd had a gold pen to edge the panels, I might be happier with the outcome.
I stamped Baroque Basics in Versamark on patterned paper and heat embossed with gold glittery powder. Used Labels One Nestabilities to cut out the two main panels. Martha Stewart cornice edge punch on the side (I do like this part). Think I'll file this one under the live and learn category.

Oh no, that's not even borderline gaudy. I'm more of a gold pen person myself, but the rest of this card is such understated elegance that the Stickles are just right to jazz it up a bit.

Well, I think it's lovely. I know what you mean though sometimes you make a creation and look at it and think, this wasn't quite what was in my head! But I think it looks very elegant! Especially with the neutral papers!
