Today's TLC was Faux Burnt Edges. As with all techniques involving sponging, I haven't done the best of jobs.I can still remember the real burnt-edges project my brother did in college - and that was over twenty years ago, so it obviously made an impact.
However, I did manage to combine it with the CCEE supply challenge today, and ended up with a card I am happy with.
The base is 5 3/4" square, covered with brown Basic Grey. I stamped it with a music score stamp randomly, and then added gold EP wherever it would still stick, and embossed. The next layer is my pink DP for the CCEE challenge - it is mostly pink, so I hope it counts. The image was stamped on cream card with StazOn Timber Brown, and coloured with H2Os for everything except the violin, and colouring pencils and Crackle Accents for the violin. I tore the edges and sponged them as per Lynn's instructions. Hard to fit the ribbon and gem brad for the CCEE challenge, but in the end I tied a knot in the ribbon, stuck the brad through it and then laid it across the corner. I then backed this whole layer with more card to make it stiff enough to layer up on foam tape. I started with a white oval for the sentiment, but sponged it with the same inks I'd used for the Faux Burnt Edges, and popped it up on more foam.

Hey gallery neighbor!!! Sabrina, I love how your card turned out. I especially like how the bottom edge of your burned panel looks. The gold embossing is so pretty. It looks like we were both thinking along the line of music today. HUGS!

Sabrina, I love how you worked the burnt edges in this perfect image. Love the way you colored it and the ribbon too. Lovely that you could do both challenges. TFS Hope you're good today.
