This week's VLVAug01 challenge with a twist is to case a Verve Diva, and if that card has DSP, we cannot use DSP, and if it doesn't have DSP we must use DSP. I cased this card from Amber's gallery: http://stampingscrapbooker.blogspot....t-amazing.html
I eliminated the butterfly and rounded corner, and chose different stamps and colors, although I LOVED her card exactly as it is.
I used the Ever After floral image, stamped it in Basic Grey and colored it with glaze pens. The sentiment panel was stamped in Blush on Blush cardstock using a floral image from Verve's Because of You set. The sentiment itself (also a Verve stamp) was stamped in Really Rust. The Tangerine Tango panel was embossed with the Flowers Impressability and then rubbed lightly with a Really Rust inkpad. The "faux" brads are punched pieces of blush cardstock covered with CTMH liquid glass and allowed to dry.
This card also uses this weeks Color Throwdown#34 colors of Blush Blossom, Tangerine Tango (or Pumpkin Pie), Basic Grey and Really Rust chosen by LeAnne.
Thanks for the visit today....it's always nice to see you
