Okay, what if Harriet Ryan is really Anne Ryan at an early age? I mean, just look at the resemblance here. Plus Harriet looks rather classy, just like our Anne would look. Toss it around a little and get back to me. That said, on to the card.....
Today we were to do Very Vintage. I saw this stamp awhile back and it so reminded me of my friend Anne. I mean, she is one class act! So today was the perfect day to use it.
I stamped it on white cs using brushed corduroy. Cut it out using deckle scissors. Cut out another panel of purple linen cs with the deckle scissors. Ran a gold leaf pen around the edges....set aside.
On the bg panel, I stamped SU sanded with antique linen ink. Then stamped the twirls with versa mark and clear ep them. Layered this with brown linen cs.
Cut the two corners of pink cs, scored the two edges of each, then versa marked and gold eb.
Ran a gold leaf pen around a kraft card. Put all my layers on. Added the vintage buttons with jute. Oh yeah, I found this feather in a yard of one of my pools and thought it was the perfect touch for my image. SO I put it on, then completed the card.
Well, hope you like this.....TFS :0)
Hi Sis! Doesn't this look like a much younger Anne Ryan? hehe .....Luv ya Anne!

After a close examination of this photograph of a possilbley younger Anne Ryan............. and after running it through my facial recognition equipment that I have easy access to via my job as an EXTREMELY EXCELLENT DECTECTIVE, I can say with absolute finalallity that - yes - this is a photograph of Anne Ryan some 50 years ago!!!! Yes, the retina scan has revealed this to be Anne . Excellent spotting skills , Mutnik , for an amateur.
And - as Brat Cards pointed out earlier - if there is something going on SCS - the culprit is always Anne Ryan - or as I prefer to call her - MRS RYANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNnnnnEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
She's at the centre of most every unflattering card, every gossip mill going on here on SCS, every kind comment, every wonderful card - I mean - look around and you'll find ANNE RYAN!!! Today alone, Pam124 and Brat Cards and yourself are featuring Anne.
I conclude thusly................. Anne Ryan is up to no good ............ but she is loved by many - even ME!!!!! and Split Coast would not be half as fun without out our dear Anne Ryannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnneeeeee!!

Well, if Debzi says so - then, IT MUST BE HER!!! OH, this must be before she turned into, as Peggy-Sue reiterated so well in my last upload of Anne Gone Ugly: Fat, Redneck hillbill,
Betty Ford Clinic Resident, Hoity Toidy, Ready for the Wrinkle Ranch, Horny (the devil kind) and Gangster. Oh, yes, and my "professional" diagnosis of having multiple personalit(ies) disorder!! They may explain all the different photos and labels that have been placed upon her. Oh where, Oh where is our darling Anne. She must be super BUSY at work and hasn't gotten to all our assessments of her so-called life. I gotta hand it to Debzi though, my gosh she is a brilliant detective with all the latest equipment. Nothing can get past this girl!!
GREAT job Mutnik - and, by the way, what a stupendous card you've made here. A real tribute to a fallen idol!! The things she could have been - so tragic!!! However, your art is far from tragic - it is spectacular. That gold leafing and layers, feather and all - WOW!!! Keep up the good work. Let us know if you find more photos of Anne before she turned - well, "hard to look at"!!!! TFS!

Glad y'all got that all figured out. Style is always the name of the game for Anne and it looks like it is for Miss Harriet here too.

Kathy this is a great vintage card!!! I concur that this is of the time period that very much matches the Ms Ryan, and the feather is proof for sure!
