Today MariLynn is having a celebration for Cindy. Guess she is getting a little older. hehe I don't celebrate those kinds of things, but I do do teapot cards. So here is my addition. Hope this gets Cindy's mind off what ever it is that is troubling her.......the card.....
Printed out a picture of MariLynn's teapot for today, gave it a little tweak. Stamped my Whipper Snapper birdie here and gave IT a little tweak. Colored with re-inkers, versa marked and clear ep both. Then cut them out.
My bg was found in the newspaper. StarBucks had a full page ad. I thought this will make wonderful bg dp. So I saved it. Worked perfectly for today. I cut a piece out and glued it onto some scrap cs. Stamped the crosshatch with black and clear ep it. Sponged the edges with tea dye.
Cut a panel of turquoise cs, sponged edges with tempting turquoise. Put my layers on a white card. Added the green dots with a copic marker, then drew the black lines around each dot.
Popped up my twins here. Then added a faux button left over from a challenge last week, and called it a card. Hope you like my twins ......TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Well, are they twins? ...or not? hmmmm
P.S. We miss you Cindy! Great job filling in
MariLynn!

This is wonderful!!!!! Love your two birds/tea pot! I think they could be fraternal twins! Your details, as usual, are phenomenal! Great teapot card, sure to bring a smile to the MM's face!

Who but you would think to use a Starbucks add out of the newspaper as BG paper! It works perfectly though and really sets off the colors of the twins - what a fun card and so ingenious! You are a master at ingenious~!

You know, I was just thinking how that teapot really needed a beak ... NOT ...The thought never crossed my simple little mind. You are so incredibly creative! Love the colors, love the starbucks ad background but loved most when you said I do do... as in you did a do do from too much tea, or you do do like a do do bird?
Ha ha ha hah . I laugh at myself .I am getting punchdrunk - took some migraine medication and I am feeling NO pain.
