Well, these luggage I.D. tags WERE literary dug out of the trash to use in Kittie's DTGD challenge - Lost and Found. Someone left them in my guest bedroom when visiting - probably because the fronts were oh so ugly. . . They've been sitting in the top bureau drawer for eons and I finally threw them away a couple of days ago. When Kittie747 posted the challenge to create with *junk*, I reluctantly relinquished them for resurrection. My plan was to turn them into pieces that would be easy to identify. I'll be using them on my basic and boring black luggage pieces so that I can spot them more quickly in baggage claim.
Here's the recipe: I inked and cut out the posy pieces X 2 and adhered them to a 3 1/2 X 7" piece of yellow DSP. Then I covered the entire piece with contact paper. This same piece was then run through a Xyron machine - shameful to say that this tool is 5 years old and never been used . . . Anyhoo, before taking the backing off to expose the sticky side, I centered a spellbinders circle over the posy and cut through all the layers. I placed the circle on posy #2 and cut through all the layers again. Voila, 2 posy circles! Lastly, I took off the backing and adhered it to the front of the luggage tag. Both tags are identical - one is turned over so the viewer can see that these are luggage I.D.'s in case they don't want to read this post. Thanks for the challenge Kittie - this is truly a trash to treasure!
Thanx for looking: More deets below.

Christine, this is precious and well worth pulling those tags out of the trash. At least they were still there. What always seems to happen to me is that something sits around for ever and I finally decide to throw it away and I think of a use for it the next day. Ugh! Thanks for playing in the challenge. Those tags will certainly help you identify your black luggage easily.

OMG! These are fun.....too bad you don't know who left them there, you could send them back to them with a note that says.....
