My friend recently found a hummingbird trapped in her garage, frantically trying to find a way out, but too frightened to be still. Finally, after 2 days, she was able to capture it, calm it, clean the cobwebs off its little wings, and set it free. Within days, her ailing father took a turn for the worse; and after several more days of loving care by his daughters and his wife of 62 years, his spirit was set free as he left his fragile earthly body to pass into an eternity free of pain and encumbrances. I cannot help but think about the timing of the hummingbird's visit.

This is the nicest hummingbird stamp set, with it's wings flapping, and you did it such justice, lovely card with
"eye popping appeal" I think birds are a nice image to use for sympathy and a "free spirit"

What a warm story... I'm sure this card will be very special to her now.
