This was for the New YearÂ’s Day challenges, stamp a card using only one color and make it blue, Ballet Blue was mine.
Very fast card to make, I did the embossing in black on black, cut some layers and stamped on white. Taped the ribbon to the back side and the card is done in less than half an hour.

Brutally Honest thread: I LOVE the batik/ canvas piece and the houndstooth piece, but not necessarily together. I think the batik/canvas would make a fantastic little note card on it's own.

Honesty: Love the colors. I like the design, but I agree with Sandi, the two sets (Batik and Houndstooth) don't seem to go together for me. So maybe change the background stamp. But I still love it as is!

BH Thread - I really like this idea...I love the black and blue together. BUT...I think the houndstooth background is too overpowering. Maybe make the central image a bit bigger so the black background is a thinner matting?

Honestly: love the angle of the ribbon and the greeting! Have just realised the black houndstooth is a background - not sure that that goes with the fun funky flowers. When I thought it was just the blue layers (photographed on a houndstooth piece of fabric!) I thought it was perfect!
