Well, after totally misinterpreting this challenge - it must be the heat! - I finally made it to the party. I can say that I have a bruise on my foot from where I dropped the big shot multipurpose platform the other night that has these very same colors in it, but that was not my inspiration. This is for the Teapot Challenge this week with a very special Destination Station.
I used some of the tissue paper garland that I got from a recent etsy purchase and gently peeled the red off. The SMILE circles are set on "paper springs" that pop them up higher than the frilly paper, but they'll fold flat for mailing. (They're just strips of paper accordian folded). I drew in the smiley faces on the stamped background.

Ouch! Sorry to hear about your foot. I just love your take on the challenge. Very creative card design. I especially like your added touch of the smiley faces in the bg paper!

This is so very cool!!! It makes me think of Cheerleader pom poms! What a fun and very cheery card with the smile and smiley faces that you drew on the bg dp. Very creative!! Ouch!, about your foot, maybe that's why I use my CB on the floor!

Are you going to develop a smiley zentangle design . I think the background is wonderful, and the popped-up letters with the tissue are so bright and happy-making.

This is one of those happy cards with fun design elements that you just want to play with and look at. I just love the playful garland and the springy letters-they are perfect on that delightful happy face paper. Very creative!

Hi there! OMG! Lorraine, you make the cutest durn stuff! I love this...I can just see you gently peeling away! Giggle! Thanks for being to diligent to the colors! Snort! Hey, reminds me of the many times I have dropped my paper piercer on my foot, why does it always fall pointy side down! Does your stamproom have workman's comp or just extremely hot temps? Mine too! Ugh, I hate stamping in the heat!
This is so precious and will make a H&H kiddo smile! What a precious way to say hello! Thanks again for my little thingy and the little thingy it was in! So cool! I love seeing one in real life and you can bet I will use it! Hugs.
