It's been a while since I've sat down in my craftroom and just stamped for fun, but it felt good to finally do just that last night. I decided to tackle a few CAS Challenges while I was at it and started with this Hot, Hot, Hot CAS Challenge CAS132 - Hot, hot, hot! (8/22/11) by Miss Boo at Splitcoaststampers.
When I think of hot temperatures, I think of the tropics, so I grabbed my Island Floral Bigz Die and Big Shot. I made my flowers with Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Rose Red cs. They're attached to a layer of Sahara Sand cs with coordinating Flower Brads. Prior to adhering the flowers, I spritzed the cs with a Sahara Sand marker, stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink and sponged the edges with Sahara Sand ink. This panel is adhered to the Sahara Sand card base, which was also sponged with Sahara Sand ink.
ETA: I forgot the mention that in addition to spritzing the main layer with my Sahara Sand marker that I also spritzed it with Very Vanilla Smooch Spritz. Love that stuff!

Regina, I love your tropical colored flowers with the spritzing. The flower brads are perfect. All your spritzing and sponging with the sentiment look great too. TFS

A daring adventure - yikes, does that mean I have nothing? LOL! Seriously, I love that sentiment and it keeps me trying to go out of my box so as not to miss things I would have otherwise. Your card is awesome and I love your pretty flowers and spritzing.
